Blue Ribbon has already given series orders to three shows, including an untitled Mortal Kombat series produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment that is tied to the upcoming Mortal Kombat X video game release in April 2015. The series is said to showcase some of the franchise's "most storied characters" and will introduce a new generation of fighters."

(Hopefully) this means the end for Mortal Kombat: Legacy. :o

Well they definitely will have to step their game up with the web series after how hard Street Fighter Assassin's Fist went. I'm hues sign this means no KTanch as director?

They got 2 bring back Van Dien & Jai White

I really hope this means no KTanch. After he rehashed the Kenshi and "Ermac" fight and called it a different episode, I was done with him.

Season 1 of Legacy was pretty cool. Season 2 was meh. Very excited for this new series.

I'm not one of those purist sorta fans, but the changes KTanch made bothered the hella outta me. Just so poorly executed. Hopefully they take some inspiration from Assassin's Fist and embrace the material a little more this time around.

"storied character". Aka: It's going to be about Sub-Zero.

Er? It said "storied characters." And that it'd introduce new fighters. No reason to think one character will get all the focus.
