i remember the Pizza Hut logo being plastered on the TMNT: Arcade Game. the NES version even came with a coupon for a free pizza from Pizza Hut

I don't understand the obsession with making things R-Rated. You can get away with almost as much in a PG-13 film and you gain a wider audience. R-Rated films don't make as much as PG-13 films

An R-rated TMNT would not make any money. Or at least not the kind they want to justify considering who the brand is currently marketed to.
