I wrote it off long ago. This looks to me like the biggest CBM disaster within the foreseeable future.

I would rather watch this reboot then the Fantastic Four reboot

So disturbing

Are the turtles genuinely that much of a classic remnant of you peoples' childhoods? I watched the show, but come on now.

They are to me. They were my favorite franchise growing up. But I'm totally open to aesthetic changes as long as they look good on screen and make sense in terms of the story.

Not me. The Fantastic Four reboot has an actual talented director behind it. This movie has a director who's mediocre at best, Michael freaking Bay, a white Shredder, Megan freaking Fox as April, etc. Not exactly encouraging.

I wasn't aware the original films were directed by Martin Scorese and stared a young Jodie Foster as April... yah learn something new every day. :o

Agreed. I'm actually rather excited for this. Cautiously, mind you, but excited nonetheless.

Are you saying Bay is the director? If you are, he's not. If you are I read this wrong

I have a childhood connection with both Ninja Turtles and Fantastic Four, and I'm excited for both reboots. I think ever since Avengers was such a phenomenal success, the studios have realised the power of these fanboy movies and have started to treat them more "seriously"

But, the people who did make the first film... treated it as such.

Somebody on Reddit claims they seen the other turtle costumes:

Leonardo has a somewhat ethnic looking breastplate, but other than that he's pretty much exactly what you would expect. Raphael has a bandanna that covers more of his head than the rest, as well as sunglasses on his forehead, but is probably the most normal looking of the bunch. Donatello...is an offensive geek stereotype. He's wearing the "nerdy" glasses with the tape in the middle and some sort of high tech goggles on his forehead (much like Egon); His shell literally looks like a proton pack, with several gadgets and tubes running around it. I'm not sure why...

:awesome:
