1 week before the trailer they start showing images from the trailer and official pics.

so last week in march 2-4 pics IMO.

It's always released online at the same time. I was hoping for one in March but we finally get something.

Well at least they finally promised something. They had better make it amazing to make up for how late this is dropping. And some stills before that wouldn't hurt, either.

This better be the most epic teaser of all time & no shadow **** either

It's way too late in the game for that. A year to six months ago, sure, but at this point that would be ridiculous. We'll definitely get a clear look at them in the trailer.

I guess the first 5 seconds or so can be shadow **** & then they step out of the shadows. But an entire teaser dedicated 2 that **** is definitely way 2 late at this point

Awesome.
Sad that it's another month away, but I'm happy that we finally have something official.
so excite.

So ****ing weak that only a freaken teaser trailer is released 4 pewny months before the film releases. The marketing drags just as much as it did getting production for the actual film underway. Really, it's that_bad! And the teaser will probably be really short, shadowy and underwhelming. And the turtles them selves will probably look like crap, compared to the CGI-monkey in the teaser for Dawn of the planet of the Apes, along with rocket raccoon in the GOTG teaser. They both look absolutely amazing, where as We (with our luck) most likely will get non believable and lazy looking CG-turtles. And why shouldn't We? I mean, everything else so far has been a complete and utter letdown! So why stop there? And YES - sadly enough there's all the reason in the World to be pessimistic about it.

They should just release one badass and mean looking full-blow-out trailer, instead of that teaser trailer crap, 4 months before movie Premier! It's so weak. Weak. Weak. Weak.

Not impressed. Oh well...I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer

Cap hits theaters in March in most big int countries. They'll have it attached to the movie then. And just like every other non-Nolan movie the trailer will be online a week or so before

A teaser can be full blown 2:30ish (it has been done) & its The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Everyone knows their basic origins. A couple of lines & scenes dedicated to that & its show off time

The Winter Soldier "teaser" was basically a full on trailer.

The term "teaser" is very subjective.

What I'll never understand is why a bunch of people that either have no interest in this production(as they have been saying for months now) or assert that it will be bad, are at all dismayed by this turn of events. Shouldn't the lot of people be...indifferent?
And people ask why Bay films open and go on to perform as well as they do.

My favorite. The old fear mongering approach based on one's own shadow.
Before complaining about something, at least wait till it actually happens maybe. This director has sweet trailers, and paramount has a lot riding on it.

The late marketing is a sign of high standards imo. I've read a dozen comments all over the place that that explain; "I'm going to wait to see the trailer, it will make or break the film for me"
Paramount has no doubt caught on to this fact and wants the footage to absolutely work.

Once again, sadly there's all the reason to be pessimistic about this whole thing (and I'm definitely not one for being it - usually). Nothing so far has gone the right way. Also, factor in that no footage, what so ever, has obviously been screened for any one. No critics or V.I.P folks out there seems to have seen jack. That's a truly bad sign right there. There's no article or anything out there floating around on the web about people claiming to have seen anything from this movie. No unpolished footage/raw footage - Nothing... This teaser blowing people away would be the first thing. And believe me when I say that IF this teaser takes the world by storm, I'll be the first smiling, admitting that I should've kept my big mouth shut! I'd do it gladly, and even take all the heat coming to me for it. I wouldn't care. I hope to God that I'm wrong about this teaser being (like everything else, thus far) pewny and underwhelming. If I'd have to eat my words back, no problem. It would be a small prize to pay, all things considered.

So the teaser is being released in April? YAY!

Wait, that's...1..2...3...4..4 months before the movie comes out. What the--?!

Okay, I'm getting flashbacks of another movie whose first trailer came out exactly 4 months before it was set to premiere, and that was X-Men: First Class. And the reason why was because, if I remember correctly and I think I do, Fox had no faith in First Class until it proved to be successful in a surprisingly way. This is sounding more and more like this is the truth concerning Paramount (who are distributing the movie), Platinum Dunes and Nickelodeon Movies (actual producing it) and Ninja Turtles. Which I really hate because, if you have no faith in the movie you're making, or agreed to put together, money-wise, then why make it?

What I'll never understand is why people who have said time and time again that they have no intrest in this movie keep coming back bere to discuss it and complain about it. If they want to talk about the Turtles there are other areas for that. Don't come in here and rain on our parade, ya know?? I think them constantly coming back to discuss it shows that they actually do have some intrest in this movie
