Cap-2 is released many places around Europe 8 or 9 days before it's released in the US. And because of that i'll bet a million that the teaser for TMNT will hit online a week before the US release of Cap-2. It's always (almost) the same. But we'll see

Similar things happened with the first Ironman spots, only they had the benefit of having lots of practical effects(mark 1) and a charismatic lead to hide behind.

And Superman's first trailer debuted before they had any footage or even a cast. They had three things.

Marlon Brando's name
Gene Hackman's name
Superman title

Like TWO YEARS before release. And people went nuts.

Slow build and lots of advertising is expensive today, though, but I'd have expected a of no-real-footage teaser out already.

I'm surprised there's been no teaser poster in theaters either. Just the manhole cover with the title or a turtle shell with the title or a shadowed silhouette image of Mirage's #1 issue (also used for the Nick intro's final shot).

It'll be interesting to see if it's a teaser trailer in the traditional sense or if it's more like the Guardians teaser trailer with plenty of quick cut footage and clear look at the characters.

Hurry up, Cap!! April isn't here quick enough!

nah, if it comes early they put another trailers, the TMNT will be online the tuesday or later the week Cap 2 releases

i think they wanted a dirty home for them in the sewers. the van looks clean because Bay is the producers and he likes clean cars.

^ Perfect example right there is how clouded this 'Bay is the producer' thing is.

That's like saying Spielberg is the one that mandated the look of all the Transformers that everyone supposedly hates.
Or like saying it was Nolan that mandated the MOS look..

All fun discussions to a point, but people need to appreciate the committee that is Hasbro and it's role in all of this...

I find myself curious how dirty the van has been in other incarnations of the turtle brand, mainly the animated ones(and the toys they spawned).
