Since Christopher Lee is unfortunately no longer with us, I would accept a recast if Patrick Stewart played Saruman in that.Gandalf and Saruman go to Vista Del Mar
Could you imagine he joins the Poohniverse. No no, that's strictly reserved for slasher flicks with Gollum as the killer.
Oh the shenanigans those 3 would have gotten into.Since Christopher Lee is unfortunately no longer with us, I would accept a recast if Patrick Stewart played Saruman in that.
Do not joke about that. Thank god Tolkien's work isn't in public domain, because a crummy Gollum horror movie is exactly what would be made!Could you imagine he joins the Poohniverse.
Almost as bad as that King Kong game that was released last year.Yeah instead we just have a crummy gollum game lmao
Playlist interview with ‘Lord of the Rings’ writer Philippa Boyens, a member of the brain trust (alongside Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh) responsible for the future of the ‘Rings’ franchise talked about the forthcoming film, ‘The Hunt for Gollum.’ Specifically, she talked about how the film features a prominent role for Aragorn, and they hope to have Viggo Mortensenreturn.
She also explained how ‘The Hunt for Gollum’ is set during ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’ era, shortly before Frodo Baggins leaves the Shire for Rivendell. And it begins with Gandalf sending Aragorn on a quest to find Gollum, who the wizard fears may reveal information about the One Ring to Sauron, so Viggo Mortensen’s appearance is crucial. But will he return?
“Honestly, that’s entirely going to be up to Viggo, collaboratively and we are at a very early stage,” she said. “I’ve spoken to Viggo, Andy [Serkis] has spoken to him, Peter [Jackson] has spoken to him, we’ve all spoken to each other and honestly, I cannot imagine anyone else playing Aragorn, but it will be completely and entirely up to Viggo.”
That would be amazing if the they had the rights to adapt it, which unfortunately they don't.Silmarillion seems the obvious choice
With the current Amazon series going on, this could get very awkward.Gandalf prequel trilogy.
Amazon's is in the same universe or no?With the current Amazon series going on, this could get very awkward.
I do not believe so. They try to latch on, but I think they are separate entities.Amazon's is in the same universe or no?
