New photos reveal a WILD possible spoiler?

Baxter Humby's website revealed scenes of the Spider-Man and Sandman fight in the armored car today- even more astounding is that Baxter is a one-armed stuntman! Just look at the pics below and let the theories about Spidey's missing limb fly!

I honestly don't know why they picked a one-armed man for the stunts. I mean, surely he would be for like, specialty movies.

Maybe he's for some kind of practical effect where Spidey's arm is absorbed through Sandman's body. But then it seems like CGI would be more cost effective for that (or pretty much any other) scenario.

Can't wait for some kind of clarification on this development.

I tried to watch the Comic Con footage, because in one scene it shows a computerized version (it obviously was unfinished footage) of Spider-Man punching through Sandman and looking confused. I tried to see if maybe the background was in the same place as these set pictures, but the video was too blurry and it was too dark anyway to tell. But it's possible that they chose this stunt double to make the punching through Sandman scene.

I hope he doesn't lose his arm in the movie; that'd be very weird.

Actually I just noticed that in one of Baxter Humby's pictures, it appears that he punches Sandman with his right arm, which is the one with the stub. The third picture on the web site shows Humby winding up for a punch, and the fourth picture shows his arm on Sandman.
