A newer Planet Hulk Trailer is out.

not much different from the previous.

neat.. I wonder what will be previewed on the planet Hulk discs..

Have they said anything about following this up with WWH?

I'm liking the looks of this. I hope they do WWH after this.

Can't wait to see it and I also think it would be great if they followed up with WWH.

Would be great to have a Marvel DTV with tons of different heroes.

Found the new Dvd box art (by Alex Ross) on the Marvel home site, thought i shared it.

Synopsis:

A whole new world of hurt!

He was a monster, impossible to control, too dangerous to ignore. So Earth's mightiest heroes exiled him into outer space.
But now the Incredible Hulk crash lands on the distant planet Sakaar, ruled by the tyrannical Red King. Sold into slavery, Hulk becomes the planet's mightiest gladiator—but his new masters get more than they bargained for when he forges a bond of brotherhood with his fellow fighters: crafty insectoid Miek, ruthless rock-man Korg, ex-shadow pirest Hiroim and the noble-born rebel Elloe.

Unlike Earth, the desperate people of Sakaar believe a monster is just what they need. But will the Hulk be the one to save their world...or destroy it?

Newsarama/NYCC present an ''Evening of Planet Hulk'' in January.

While details are still being finalized, today Newsarama can announce we’re working with our friends at New York Comic Con, along with Marvel Entertainment, Lionsgate Home Entertainment and the prestigious New York & Los Angeles Paley Centers for Media (whew!) on an “Evening of Planet Hulk.”

A special bi-coastal NYC-Los Angeles event taking place the evening of Thursday, January 14th, it features the World Premiere Screening of the highly-anticipated Planet Hulk animated feature scheduled for DVD and Blu-Ray Disc release on Feb. 2, 2010, followed by special panel discussions with some of the talent behind not only the animated film, but the comic book stories that inspired it.

Tickets are free and will be distributed via NewYorkComicCon.com beginning on December 23rd and of course Newsarama has some very special online coverage of the event planned so Hulk fans from around the world can participate in the special evening.

Look for the official announcement with more details including the special panel participants soon right here at Newsarama. And until then check out the trailer for Planet Hulk just below...

I'll probably end up picking it up sense I skipped out on Hulk vs.

"No Bruce Banner"

Hmm....

I heard that:dry:

Besides he was only in like three little scenes when I read it. Still thou I like to see some duality.:csad: Besides there is always WWH

I really hope Marvel goes on and do WWH.... i enjoyed the comic ALOT

Just watched this movie, Pretty good. I don't know much about the Planet Hulk comic story but I liked this movie.:yay:

Spoiler Alert

Question: [BLACKOUT]Why doesn't Hulk change back to Bruce in this film?[/BLACKOUT]

Another question: [BLACKOUT]If Hulk is so savage and uncontrollable on Earth, Why is he semi-intelligent and ends up helping the people of the planet? If he could be that under control on the new planet why couldn't he be that way on Earth?[/BLACKOUT]

:huh::huh:

didnt really understand the movie, he was pretty calm in a ton of scenes but never turned back into banner which led me to believe he was permanently the hulk and he seems pretty damn controllable in the movie which didnt make sense cuz he got sent away from earth cuz he wasnt controllable

There is a lack of inner conflict. They are both working together to insure their survival. Hulk staying in control longer would help improve their chances.

Really, SuperAl? Did you have to repeat EXACTLY what Superman just posted before you? You just repeated his post! And you defeated the purpose of him using spoiler tags, since for anyone not wanting to know what he said, if they read your post, oh well :whatever::whatever::whatever:

I think because he's basically in tantrum mode on Earth because those are all people he considers friends, yet they constantly screw with him or treat him like a monster, so subconsciously he decides that's how he'll act towards them. The Sakaar people are pretty much all acting as he acts 24/7, so it's a culture shock.

god questions

From my understanding.. because he chose not to, at Least that is the impression I got from reading the comic, that he could control the transformation, but the other "heroes" did not want to take the chance that he reverted back to being uncontroled, the movie also ended before the point in the comic where he changed back to Banner

My roomie downloaded this and we watched. I, not being the hugest advocate for HULK, enjoyed this movie very much. Can't wait to buy it.
