looks good, but i hat ethe ultra-unrealistic fights they have.

Rambo IV is next! This Rocky film looks great. Hopefully the best one since part 1.

I cannot wait, I love Rocky (except V, of course)

Yeah 5 was enjoyable as a standalone film but it kind of ruined the whole legacy of the franchise.

That's probably why this Rocky movie is going for uber-realism...

Thanx for the gif Wesyeed. At least I watched part of the trailer. :cmad: Im so freaking pissed I haven't been able to download or watch the trailer.

New trailer looks cool

But I really don't like all these CGI fights. They look too crappy (like in usual videogame on PS2) :down

Frickin' AWESOME!!

Please merge as well with the Rocky 6 thread........thanks for the link........

Goddamn why do they have to put crappy rap music in that trailer??!? Ugh it was alright until I heard that ****! PLEASE no remix of the Rocky theme by P Dummy or any other hacks!

The only CGI boxing I saw was INTENTIONAL, during the virtual simulation.

He's playing to ALL crowds, that's all. He did have Eye of the Tiger and the original Rocky score as well in there.

I really hope he doesnt lose :( wait all these years just so he gets his ass kicked

Yeah, but that rap was so out of place and jarring I felt my heart try to stop.

That trailer was wicked. I believe it was Mr. T who said - I WANT BALBOA! I WANT BALBOA!

Rocky's from the streets and rap's from the streets so I guess that's what they're going for with that... or something.

He's going after "today's" boxers with the rap music, the posse's, and the overall feel of what goes on today in boxing. Today the boxer is surrounded by 50 people dancing, chanting, and being a bunch of gangsta's - Stallone wants it realistic to today's boxing, and it's clear he's doing that with the announcers, Mike Tyson, and Las Vegas.

i hope they didnt give too much away in this trailer. by the looks of it, especially the end of the trailer, rocky knocks mason dixon out.

Just so you know...I just spent a good 5 mins staring non-stop at that clip...I think I may have even drooled. :P

I am pissed they made Rocky broke.

That's the reality of a lot of these fighters, though. A lot of them didn't manage their finances properly, and ultimately ended up with nothing. And a lot of them don't have good fall-back plans for when they can't fight anymore.

I think Stallone just stays ripped. Since CopLand, I don't think he's had to do anything drastic physically for a role, so he's just been on his regular routine in subsequent years.

What he said. :cmad:

I finally got to watch the trailer, thanx to Hunter Rider, and I loved every second of it.

LOL, or it could be that they're simply marketing it towards different demographics, including the "urban" segment.
