Goodness, that art is gorgeous. Would be nice if the series quality can match it

Only thing that scares me about this show is that miles and Gwen are involved as the other spider heroes. Wonder how that will work out

Forgot about this thread.
Anywho, Patton Oswalt is the voice of Uncle Ben and Spider-Girl may appear on this show.

My guess is Spider-Man Island.
Who's voicing spider this time around?

We don't know yet

Gotta say, I'm liking the art for this so far! Just what I wanted!

Uncle Ben? We've seen him in the past six Spider-Man cartoons already. And what if he detracts from the fun tone of the Spider-team havin' fun. :o

:sly: But in all seriousness, this show looks good. I'm interested. Btw, we heard Spider-Man's voice in the teaser & he just might be my favorite yet:

Is that Patrick Brown art official? If so, I'm loving what the show is doing visually! Even though the animation itself obviously wont be quite as detailed and gorgeous

Not a fan of all these Spider people. But that art is amazing

I have to say that while the promotional art is pretty, I'll have to wait until we actually see something from the cartoon itself.

I'm not sure how I feel about having another team based show, after we just left a Spidey team based show, as well as all other Marvel animation this era being team based (heck maybe even superhero animation in general now are based on teams...I'll have to check around), as well as Spidey sharing screen time with Tony Stark in Homecoming. However I suppose I'll have to wait and see how this turns out...maybe it will be the next Wolverine and the X-Men...

I don't really care for the Ock design, but that's probably unpopular.

I like how they went "ALL CLASSIC DESIGNS except Vulture make him look like the movie lol"

Not that I'm mad, but if the cartoon is still running when the sequel comes out, it'll look weird with the Vulture MCU design next to the classic design of whatever villain headlines that film. Unless they come up with some ridiculous in-universe reason for a cosmetic change.

That art does indeed look really good however it doesn't impress me.

I remember prior to the release of TSSM it was being touted as the "definitive spider-man series." Then we got our first look at the art for the show via Cheeks' deviant art page. The skepticism hit a high when that happened. And I admit I too was very skeptical. I mean, the initial design looked so cartoony--how could this be the definitive series? In the end, it was not only animated beautifully, the show proved that initial skepticism was false.

My point...good looking art doesn't really mean much for the series. If the writing is poor it can be the prettiest thing around--but that won't mean squat. Look at USM. Great animation, decent art but awful writing and presentation. Let's not forget that both Slott and Wacker are part of the support/creative team for this show.

Isn't this show supposed to be released this year? Where is the trailer?

Hopefully we get some footage soon. I'm rather excited to see this in action. I hope that around Homecoming's release, the marketing push comes to life in a rather big way.

It will. The quality could be all over the map, but if Disney knows how to do anything, it's marketing.

Revert to Sony Television
