Comics New @ Spiderfan!

Yeah, it was typical 90s fare. It coulda had so much potential, but they rushed it.

The editor was talking about it in some email then I got one that has it as a header... wait a sec,

Hmm, its a new editing form.
Heres the email-

OK Max (and the rest of ya FYI),

One of my recent grand schemes is gradually coming together. I'm adding
online editing support for the Fans sections. Currently I've migrated over
Tattoos, Art, and Top Ten lists. I'll do costumes very soon.

How it works is that it's just like news items. There are links to create a
new item, or edit an old one. The fan stuff is now all indexed by dates,
just like news, raves, and NCRL, editor and oracle letters.

So, how do you get the images in there? AHA! That's also a new trick.

Basically you can put an image into ANY of those item types I've mentioned.
Just click the edit button and type in your info like usual. But in the
body, where you want the image, just put

/Image myimage.jpg

(Or whatever the image should be called).

Submit the new item, then follow the link you're presented to "Upload
Images". It's just like uploading a cover.

It's all so wonderful and obvious that I'm sure you won't need any more
explanation than that. So, Max, if you've got any FANS stuff sitting around,
get to it! I'll try and convert costumes tomorrow some time. It's just all
painfully manual stuff...

J.

Ah. Alrighty then. Think I'll stick to just pluggin' up th' back issue holes.

Cool to read about the Amazing Friends comic.

I just secured Marvel Adevntures The Avengers for monthly reviews.

Cool, I got a few new profiles Im starting on, Il be doing that wrestler from FNSM#6-7, then the Hobby from the current issues.

Shway. I'm just goin' down my list of backissues they're missin'.

You'd never guess a clone saga fan boy wrote those reviews :p It was Ock's time to die?? Hardly. That's why he came BACK!!! Nobody wanted him dead :D And the fans were right. It was cheap shock value. And nothing cheap lasts for long ;)

Though on the whole, those are decent reviews.

Normie Osborn bio
http://www.spiderfan.org/characters/norman_osborn_jr.html

This was done by Demogoblin & I just posted it up on the site using my account. Demo does of course get full credit for it. Nice work, once again, dude.

Very nice bio Demo

Hey, what can I tell ya...I've had 221 fer as long as I can remember and just finally got th' last 3 parts. Put them all together, it was one great story. And after all that Ock did, it was kind of a bittersweet tragic ending. I always say if th' story's good, then th' story's good regardless of what happens. And THAT was a helluva good story.

It was a little brief but all the same, nice synopsis of X-Force#4.
I remember buying it when it first hit the stands.

I have some profiles coming up soon of new characters featured in FNSM.

Nice work on the Gravity bio, W25TH. I was wondering who did that.

Speaking of bios (again), I've got one for 'Michael' (see New Avengers) in the works.

Danke. Hafta see about gettin' Helix added to the list. I like doin' shorter bios more than longer ones. But still no Armada, dammit!

Someone should tackle Arane, I was thinking of doing it but now can't be assed buying all her comics since I don't own them.

I'm now working on a profile for that wrestler dude from FNSM#7-8.

I can't believe nobody has done a profile of Captain Stacy.

I might do it after I finish reviewing a couple more Doc Ock comics.
