World new Supergirl DVD

Anyone pick this up yet? It supposedly comes with the European version with 10 extras minutes. Along with commentary and the theatrical trailer.

I can't find it in my town. I think I went to everyplace that sells DVDs and no one seems to have bothered to stock it. I know the movie totally, totally sucks, but I'm a comic book movie completist, and I don't think I've ever seen it all the way through. So I was hoping to pick it up, but no luck.
I'll probably just resort to Amazon.

I pre-ordered it with The ultimate collection. I'm not sure if the movie itself is the version with 10 more minutes or not 'cause the only special features are the trailer, commentary, and a little featurette call "Legacy of Superman"

Whats really disorienting is the menu screem it has little if anthing to do with the movie, it has Supergirl flying out of the Returns shield with the williams score from S:TM playing.

ive never seen supergirl but i heard its one of the all time worst movies ever.maybe i should rent it,now that a new dvd is availible. ive only seen a scene or 2 on youtube thats it. but can someone give me there opinion on the movie, on a scale of 0-10. im expecting alot 0-3's.

Why don't you just buy the two disc edition that came out years ago? Making ofs, commentary, international and domestic versions of the film are all included, plus it has a nicer cover.

I'm gonna buy it next week. In my country it comes with the extra 10m, deleted scenes, trailer, audio commentary and making of.

that was available in the uk back in june to 'celebrate' the return of superman. the movie isn't that bad but i did grow up on it so im bias- the parts on argo are cringeworthy but kara beating those guys up in the alleyway is class and was copied by loeb and turner in her reintoduction in superman/ batman. if it is the same DVD the featurette it's this

without the voiceover or the superman returns trailer. and it will come on as soon as you load the DVD.the commentary is full of excuses why it was poor and the deleted scenes are in the movie(which i hardly noticed). The trailer is old so its obviously poor quality.

i only got this because the 2 disk edition isnt sold anymore

and getting it on here is way too expensive

for the one disc i waited a month and got in half the price in sales

^^you may not have like SR but it was better than supergirl- whatever people say. thats why supergirl needs a new movie- we need to rectify all these mistakes and make kara cool and kick ass again

Warner Bros DVD artwork is SO LAME. First the pathetic Superman DVD covers, now this. What's with the dark clouds? Supergirl is not a dark movie by any means. And the logo is awful. Helen Slater is beautiful in Supergirl, any logical marketing would capitaize on that, and they could have atleast made her look somewhat attractive on the cover and the disc, but no. "Why bother when we can just use the S logo?"

No matter how much I, or anyone disliked Superman Returns, and I did dis-like it, it's nowhere near the complete crap that is Supergirl.

Supergirl has nothing redeeming about it. Even if you like Helen Slater, she wasn't a good Supergirl for the simple fact that the writing is so bad. It all starts with that. There is nothing in Supergirl that is remotely clever, well done, or even decent enough to be called mediocre. It is one of teh worst films of all time.
