new Superman Documentary

I liked how they talked about the Superman movie like it already came out in theaters.
On June 28th, 2006, Superman opened in theaters...
And it hasn't happened yet. Ha.

Is that the Look, up in the sky: amazing story of Superman documentary? I already have that in DVD.

yes it is

is the DVD worth it, or should I just watch the free online thing I found?

I saw this on tv. It was a good watch. Mostly centered around George Reeves and the old 40's-60's but it did have small amounts of Smallville (too little if you ask me) and Reeve's S70's movies. It also had some stuff about Returns.

IMO this could be worth a rent.

:supes:

Good find Elijya. I wonder what was in the extended 30 mins version. Anyone think the Timmverse shows got more coverage on that?

I downloaded the full version off he net a couple of days ago. The cartoons got some brief coverage, but it was very general. In fact, the entire documetary is, it doesn't really go too indepth into any particular aspect. To be fair, the documentary's intent is meant to be only a general overview of Superman's entire media history. They do have a lot of ground to cover, and can't linger too long on one aspect.

I, for one, really liked the way they discussed Doomsday. The intro to it and the Death of Superman arc was pretty cool.
