New Superman Series Based on Smallville?

We all know that Smallville is ending, the show itself has made this proclamation....but what if they kept going?

Is it possible that they could or that they will continue to film the show under a new title? Is it possible that Smallville ends at Season 10 and SUPERMAN starts shooting directly after for Season 1?

Would you want it?

Would you watch it?

Would you prefer a Movie?

Would you prefer a new series over a new movie?

Would you like both a new series and a new movie?

Would this work without some of the original cast members. For example; Michael Rosenbaum?

I did not make this manip, but I thought it was beautiful.

Look, a TV series starring the cast of Smallville with Smallville continuity just ain't gonna happen. Tom, Erica, Mack, they all want to move on & explore different ventures. That's cool, they gave us 10 years & we should be greatfull. Would I like to see it carry on as Superman season 1?. Hellz yes but that's not the reality. Would I like to see a new Superman show that takes itself as seriously, story wise as The Nolan Batman movies have? OH YEAH. Let's just hope that one day we get a show that has been as good as Smallville has & we'll have our movie in 2012. The future looks good.

I'm fine with them focusing on the Superman movie for now. It's been in waiting for so long now and I want to see something happening.

The Smallville fan in me really wants to see Tom Welling and Erica Durance on the big screen. I mean they lived these characters for so long it would nice to have that huge payoff for the fans.

The other part of me knows that it's probably better to start fresh with a new cast since if they cast Welling and Durance it may feel too much like a Smallville continuation.

And about the Superman tv show, I definitly think the cast may want to move on to different projects, especially, Tom.

The man's given 10 years of his life for the character.

I think for Smallville I would be satisfied if they have a super, action-packed epic two hour finale.

It can basically be the beggining of it's own Superman story there and people can always use their imagination on what happens next.
