How many times do they have to rehash the same Silver Surfer image. I must say compared to the Spiderman marketing F4 has been extremely lacklustre. Sony have been inventive with the posters, they have meaning, they have iconic imagery. The F4:2 posters have just been more crappy head shots and cast photos. Do we need to see what the cast looks like again?

dont want to nitpick but some angles are wrong. if the thing would not stand next to the torch they would get away. the thing is not from the same angle like the torch.

but still a good poster. its funny that the torch from that angle doesnt look so funny like superman.

It looks fine but I wish we had just a peak of the new Doom in there. And the perspective on the Thing does look a bit off to me too, like he was added in.

They all were added in, I doubt that is actually a group photo, they most definetly have been individually imposed in

How can a poster that's obviously been tinkered with and worked on so much (to the point that it almost looks like a fan-made manip) appear so lazy, generic and, frankly, boring.

Ghost X used the word 'lacklustre' before - that's the word I'd use to sum up this poster.

C'mon Fox - you can do better than that!!

I really don't like this poster at all. Don't mind it as the novelization cover but as people have pointed out the quality just isn't good enough, especially when people already want to jump on the movie being bad. I am hoping that this is just a fan manipulation.

I'm sure they will have more very nice poster once the trailer comes out with Spider-Man 3. And Spider-Man 3 just started picking up on the marketing two weeks ago; Fantastic Four 2 have about two and a half months left.

Agreed. The Spidey stuff is just now kicking into gear. I know, becuase now I'm hearing about it non-stop from my kid.
I doubt this will be the final poster. And it may not be a knock-out, but neither is it a huge let-down.
I think most of us are casting a far more critical eye on it than the herds of moviegoers hustling in and out of theater lobbies will.
Most of them will be fairly impressed; the poster will have done its job.

Jeez, a few weeks ago it was all whining and moaning about the FF not being included in the campaign. Now that they are, it's whining and moaning about anything marginally "wrong" that can be claimed.
