I don't think that those were like- transformation models. I'm thinking that those were models of when Spider-man and Venom have their confrontation, and the symbiot peals back to reveal Eddie.

This is very interesting. There seems to be a shot of Marko shooting off-screen, but it's set up like a dream sequence and he's wearing his getup as seen later on. Possible nightmare Pete experiences? It's cool to see they're back-referencing the continuity of the other films...but, dang it I want to see the clips in those vaults! Smith's interview was equally enlightening. Next to his head as he's speaking about the makeup application seems to be some blue screen shots of a suspicious face close to Venom's. There even seems to be a shot of someone with their mouth agape in a blue screen room. Hmm.

I thought they may film topher wearing the prostetic in the church and cut between different shots with different prostetics on. The camera will be moving fast so you won't be able to tell that the prostetic is not moving. Then add cgi to sell the shot.

EDIT: After looking at the other pictures. The picture on the right looks like the fight between Spidey and Venom.
