I love the original Voltron, but I don't really like the new design of the Lion mechs. Personally, I always thought that the team that made up the Voltron resembled Super Sentai, from the color-coded uniform (red is leader!), to the fact that all the mechs can form a giant robo like the SS. The only difference is that none of the Voltron members can do any combat outside the mech.

The lions looks strange. The black lion looks more red than black. I'm a Voltron fan so I'll check this out.

Animation looks to be only slightly better than that Speed Racer series by Nicktoons. Not good at all.

The poor animation aesthetic is definitely keeping me from giving this show a chance. When looking at the preview, I am thrown off by everything that I see. I dislike the cell-shaded lions, the character designs are terrible, and the actual animations seems to be greatly lacking. As the poster above me said, this looks notch better than the Speed Racer show but that still not saying much.
