Got the same impression. Cool that Thomas was considered for the Gift role, but that fell throgh. Now he is in a major blockbuster.

Yes and no. I think they'll both be there, both battling Spidey, but I doubt they'll have any sort of partnership per se. In fact, if Sandman gets too close to defeating Spidey, I could see Venom interceding to prevent it. Venom wants the kill for himself. This would create a scenario where everyone involved is fighting everyone else. Mayhem! Gotta love it.

He said their stories don't intersect that much. He never said they don't intersect at all. So, it's still possible that they'll be in the final showdown together.

You're forgetting Brock isn't a super villain for like 90% of the movie. So, of course there's not much intersection of their stories. They both have seperate plots. Brock becomes a humiliated loser, while Sandman is out strealing for his kid, and getting hounded by Spidey.

yes, in the script summary it said that sandman and venom would team up. i think it is a preety cool idea that they team up. sandman probably will not show up at the same time, he will probably show up in the middle of the fight. maybe sandman will die befor the battle is over. spidey defeats sandman twars the end of the final batttle then the only villian left is venom then spidey would have to finish him off.

I forgot the cover that was posted in this thread and picked up the one with Spider-Man on the cover shooting webs out of both his hands wearing the Symbiote! It said 2007 preview on it so I figured that was it! So I wasted $7.00 on that crap!

My store didn't have the one posted here either so I'm screwed. Now I get to find it on the internet and pay like $15.00.!
