Seriously, that had to one of the worst written and directed movies I've ever seen. No character development, no real excitement, and horrible dialog. I actually didn't mind some of the actors, but they never really got to show off remotely any of their talent and I'm pretty sure the cast at least had more talent than shown.

I kind of can see Justin as a teenage Goku, but the way he was written was horrible.

i don't think fox's gonna read your thread..sooo.. why bother?

This is more of a "Who would you like to replace the current writer/director" thread. Yeah, I'm not that dumb to expect fox to actually come in and read viewers/fans opinions.

Besides myself,

Stephen Chow
Zhang Yimou
Guillermo Del Toro
Zack Snyder *gets ready to dodge*
Jackie Chan
Ang Lee
Shusuke Kaneko

whytf everytime it all comes back to jet li and jackie chan?they are old...they've done their movies...let other people give it a try....as if without those 2 the martial arts movie would die or so...yes,i've said it and i'll say it again -a 25 years younger Jackie Chan would've been a perfect goku-but i don't see why so many dudes would put them in any fighting movie for absolutely no reason except for their names...(cabel,i'm almost sure you didn't refer to jc as goku-maybe master roshi, but even so ...u get may point).Of course these guys can literally kick a--es, but c'mon...
btw, cabel,i know you didn't mention jet li in your list-that was for all the other fans who did

This is the director thread, therefore I listed Jackie Chan as a possible director.

In addition to his experience in martial arts, stunts, and fight choreography, he also knows how to balance action and comedy. And yes I do want him to play Master Roshi, makes since considering the obvious influence he had on Toriyama.

yes,but then he would become the central figure of the movie...unless goku gets played by a real good/charismatic actor(other than jet li)...

not necessarily

while the quality of the other actors is a factor, it'll depend on how the movie is structured.

I've never saw DBZ being shot like a traditional Martial arts action movie, DBZ is on a whole other level, If your gonna shoot the movie, your fights scenes have to be redefining in order to get away with goku and vegeta fighting faster than the speed of light, seriously. Your goal should be to outshine THE MATRIX, cause I dont know about you guys......but I'm startin to get F**king tired of washed up bullet-time slow-mo action sequances like 300 or watchmen. ( not that it didn't work, I just want to see something different).
really fast editing can go places with action, just look at the sword fight between blade and frost,....well....just before Frost gets diced in half.
