heres some stuff i dug up, thats already hit the web. Post more as you find it. Since NYCC is apparently going to showcase some stuff before or instead of toyfair

for you 3/4 marvel lovers... heres a big laugh for ya.

March will see the release of these little, itty, bitty Wolverine figures, scaled to fight the forces of Cobra and Darth Vader's Sith army and very little else...

THE TOYARC gives us a sneak preview of the line, starting with a brown costumed Wolverine. Last time the crew did a preview, they included just about every figure from the mini-scaled Marvel Universe series 1, so its a safe bet they'll have more to come on this line.

Now my initial, gut wrenching reaction to these pictures is..shoddy paints and a soft sculpt. Hasbro is going to have to explore Star Wars level details before I consider 9 dollars an acceptable price for smaller than Marvel Legends sized figures. Here's the press blurb..

Not a very good review for ya :-P

actually they all look pretty bad. they look like better sculpted happy meal toys

i hate these little thingss . jsut make 6 inch people are gona buythey have for years noww them

Glad they're using better articulated elbows.

Sarcasm.

I still can't believe people are excited for this 3 3/4 line. WTF?!

Not enough people, which is the problem. I know I could never buy a ML for full price. $17 is just too much for a superhero figure. But $11 is just right. 6"<3.75"

lol wow are prices ridiculous for you. i'd just have US people buy your stuff for you and ship it and save a bunch. $11 is ridiculous for a 3 3/4 figure. Hell i think it's ridiculous for a ML sometimes.

Look at the exchange rate. Any savings would be so small as to not exist. Besides with the economy the way it is, they might put the price up on ML. Deluxe Tranformers have gone up to 12.99 at US Wal-Marts.

If the toy companies want to survive through the economic crisis, raising the prices is SOOO not the way to do so.

Maybe it's a cunning plan. Jack up the price now then when the second TF movie figues hit in May they lower it to $10.99 again. Wal-Marts villiany knows no limits. But then again Zellers jacked up the price on Indy figures, basics are now $12.99 and deluxe $14.99.

Yeah Hasblo can kiss my ass on that. I am not paying $9.00 for one 3.75" action figure.

Especially when you consider that DCUC is currently $8.99 at Target. For $9, I would much rather have a beautifully painted 6" figure with great accessories than a terrible looking 3.75" figure.

I'll admit I probably will get some core avengers figures from this line. And probably a villain or two. I'm leaning towards the 4" scale just because it's easier to collect with my limited space. I won't defend their quality (or lack thereof), however.

I'm looking forward to to seeing new DC universe and hopefully new Marvel legends.
