Hmmm... Obama represented by a monkey, shot in the street by two white cops? Racist or not? You tell me.

Considering that Congress authors the bill and President signs off on it, how were you able to discern that it was Obama the illustrator was referring to and not the out-of-control-when-it-comes-to-spending Congress (given that this is clearly referring to the out-of-control chimp news story)?
Now, if he had said "sign the stimulus bill" instead of "write the stimulus bill," then you may have had something. Otherwise, calling this racism is grasping at straws.
I think the comic is pretty funny.
Politicians are often looked like as monkeys. If that was a white man in the office and they had a cartoon of it, people would think it was funny.
Black groups (like the stupid NAACP) are controlling the media and telling us white people how to think. They're free just like we are now. They should shut the **** up. I'm sick of all this bullcrap. The NAACP should get on alot of these black rappers (who negatively play up black stereotypes all the time, behave selfishly, put other people down, and like to flaunt their matieralistic aspirations in a very rude/obnoxious way; just look at Ludacris!/pretty ludacris if you ask me).
"Those free black people need to shut the hell up, cause me, a white guy, said so! They done got thar freedom, now they should shine my shoes like good little negros!"
Adam-long ass number, you sir, are a racist.

Adam-long ass number, you sir, are a racist. So is this cartoon, by the way. Everyone KNOWS the stimulus package is Obamas. It's his damn thing. The joke isn't even very good, even when not looked at racially. "Those monkies on capital hill, amirite guys!?!?!" That's not funny. Even if the original intent wasn't racist, someone in the production of it should have went "uh...guys...you know that monkey is a racial slur, and the man who is the driving force behind this bill is a black man, correct?" Then again, knowing the NY Post, I'm not surprised that it's ran by either a bunch of bigots, a bunch of fools, or both.

Yes, we all know that congress writes the bill. Do you really think Obama wasn't in there, lobbying for what got in? It's god damn semantics, and you know it. Stop trying to defend these people.
When most people think of the "Hound Dog" song, they think of Elvis Presley. Some people would even say it's "his" song. After all, he's the one who truly made it famous. He's the one that included it in sets in his concerts across the country. Does that mean that he wrote it? He didn't.
So, if someone says that it's the worst written song of all time, would they be criticizing Elvis Presley or the writers of "Hound Dog?"
