New York Toy Fair! 2009

It's almost here, i think only 2 weeks away!

what are you guys expecting?

sadly i heard rumors that it's going to be pretty small this year... I've heard of a few things at hasbro, like IronMan armor wars, and a pair of wolverine claws for kids... but has anyone heard anything else?

I'm a bit worried, hasbro hasn't said anything about legends for a while, and if we don't hear anything at toy fair, that means a hell of a long wait till comic con

Well a Canadian toy industry expo was Sunday. I've seen a pic of a packaged armour wars figure. A silver centurion looking guy with dual cannons on his back. Superhero squad stuff. Like an X-men battlepack of Juggernaut, Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Wolverine. A helocopter, and some kind of vehicle playset. There was a retailer only event for Origins figures, no photos allowed.

The Hasbro reps said that pics and details would be coming to the public at the NY toy fair.

i just really hope they at least tell us whats coming with Legends and mighty muggs...

I think we're more likely to see Legends related stuff at the New York Comic Con, which starts next weekened. Toy Fair will probably be mostly dedicated to the movie and cartoon related figures.

hopefully, though i just wish hasbro played by toybiz's standards in giving us at least a lil something at each major event... even if its just one figure revealed.

and we know of one WO 2 pack... and there just rehashed figs

It's a Canadian toy expo, Marvel Mighty Muggs haven't been released here yet. On the WO two-packs, I'll say this: When has Hasbro relased just 1 piece in a product line at that price point ($29.99 for me). Seems to me, based on the previous Hasbro ML two-packs, that this will be an assortment. Of at least two perhaps 4 per wave.

i think we all are.... were getting close to the home stretch of team completions though (aside from some modern versions if characters (thor, cap, wintersoldier, short hair black widow, arachne, captain britain) other then those who need new figs.... team wise all were missing is a few young avengers, the rest of alpha flight, Xcalibur, inhumans, and a few others just to complete some stuff i'd personally want (original human torch, jubilee, jim lee jean grey, modern havok, polaris, and the new x-men) if we got all of that i'd be happy... but of course i want more... and redo's lol

My biggest want right now would be a modern Luke Cage, hero wise. Ideally in a 2pack with either jessica 'jewel' jones or Echo. I hope for him before Hasbro kills the line with the mini-marvels. When Legends is done, so am I.

and villian wise, all spidey's rogues who have been left out, Puma, prowler, hydo man, hammerhead, tombstone, the enforcers, all those types. Hopefully, the Spider-Man line can round out the figs we don't have yet. I don't have high hopes, though Tarantula is a good start.

We better see the whole G.I Joe, Transformer's and Wolverine ranges.

I saw the Mighty Muggs here in Calgary in July. So they have been out for awhile. It was great because I just bought them off Ebay, for ten bucks more and then saw them in a TRU here. (which was the last time i've seen them since then)

I've seen quite a bit of them in Florida. Marvel, Star Wars, Indy, and GI Joe. They're cute, I guess, but not for me. I don't want cute. I want cool.
