Shoulda seen the snow we got in Nova Scotia last year!
Ha. Yeah, that's a good one. Ha. Geez. Whoa... stop, please. Ha. Ha. Ha
I refer you to an earlier post that I made....
Yeah, you guys got hit by an icredible blizzard last year. Amazing stuff.
Here's an article for anyone who is interested in Newfoundland's contribution to the world during the terrible events that transpired on Sept 11th, 2001.
Did you see it?
Perhaps you read it?
or maybe you listed to it?
Either way, do you know it?
Most of you fellow hockey fans will probably know where this man is from.
He's pretty damn good.
Do you like Thor? Do you like Vikings? Did you know this Viking fact?
This was taken from this informative page here
Taken from the Goverment of Newfoundland and Labrador website
Did you know that Newfoundland and Labrador could be the first Province to completly ban cigarette smoking in Public places. This is a huge and important step to a heathier lifestyle for everyone in our Country and beyond.

So, are you starting to plan your summer vacation now that the snow is on the way? Or pehaps your looking for a Winter wonderland to escape too. Come to Newfoundland and see our beauty and our friendship. Check out the following website for tourism information
If you do come, be sure to let me know and we'll meet up...
I'm a BC man, born and bred. I still say my province is the most beautiful of them all, but I hear Newfies are the nicest people in the world. When you can understand what they say . I kid, I wish I had a newfie accent.
Funny thing. I'm moving to BC next year. Perhaps you can give me a few tips.
Well, if you're looking for work, stay away from the big cities. The smaller towns up north are like inches away from asking people on the street if they want a job, and they offer paid apprenticeships. I'm from Van Isle originally, beautiful place, but the north island is a little too backwater for me. Not too sure what else to say unless you ask specific questions
Well, I'll definatly be looking for work but, I doubt the work I'm looking for will be available up north. I'm an actor you see. The entire reason for moving out of my province is to find more in my field. Vancouver (however hard it's going to be to 'break in') is the place to do that. I've done just about all I can in Newfoundland to keep my career afloat but it's just not good enough. While in the big city of Vancouver, I'll work at any small job to survive and I'm sure there lot's of them.
The hardest thing to do is find a place to live when I'm so far away. I mean, I can't really look for apartments. I'm looking into some services for people moving to the province or city but have been unlucky so far. Any ideas or tips?
I didn't get a chance to see the footage of Bush's visit to Nova Scotia (Which should really have been Gander, Newfoundland because they cared for twice as many people in a town half the size... but I won't complain, too much) but it's nice that a thank you was finally given. I mean, the damn man forgot to thank Canada at all shortly after 911. Crazy.
That's all for the Newfoundland News. I'm Flamehead. Good day.
The summer is commin'... and that means Vacations are bein' planned.
Try Newfoundland. Here's our Dept of Tourism's website
Visit there... then visit here. It's a beautiful place that needs to be seen.
Pearl Jam is coming to this tiny province! I cant freakin' believe it!!
Yeah. I try.
You Canunks have cool flags for provinces and stuff. Here's what Florida's flag looks like:
Hmmm... for some reason I can't see the flag.
Thanks for the compliment though. I think our flags look pretty awesome too!
I'm a newfy who lives in B.C. now! I always wondered how many newfies lurked around the hype.
Sigh.....Shall I bust out the Newfie jokes.
