Don't make The Sky Is Blue threads.
I didn't read the article, but I've decided that it means I can blame my husband for my extra 5.
same situation, although we are getting married in marchI'm not married. But I might as well be. Me and my girlfriend have been together for five years come November 5th. When we were dating, we went out a lot, and consequentially, ate out a lot. Now that we are living together and acting more domestic we eat at home. Just eating at home can make a big difference. I think we've both lost weight, I know I have. I don't ask her, girls tend to get insulted about any weight related questions. But I understand the whole comfort factor thing. Confident people in a relationship get comfortable and are no longer trying to score, so I guess looks take a back seat. That hasn't happened to us yet. But, like I said, we aren't technically married.
No clue. It's not a philosophy I embrace. I still get butterflies in my stomach everytime I go home (I hope she does too ). Why would we want to loose that?same situation, although we are getting married in march
but come on!!! what kind of a ******ed thought process makes people believe that once they get married they don't have to put the effort?
Yeah it is, and I feel sorry for those people. They are no longer trying to impress each other. They assume the chase is over. And, while I do suppose it is, there is still something very attractive about still being able to surprise your mate. Just yesterday, I went home for lunch and we had an afternoon quickie. Why? Because we still can't get enough of each other. I hope we still feel that way in 40 years.it's possible to become TOO comfortable with your mate. You don't want to destroy what attracted you in the first place.
