That's a satirical article, right? Because wacko theories aside, even the science is wrong.

In fetal development, the default is being female. All humans (even in old age) tend toward femininity. The main thing that keeps men from diverging into the female pattern is testosterone, and testosterone is suppressed by an excess of estrogen.

The egg contains an X by default, and the gender of the child is determined by whether an X-sperm or Y-sperm reaches the egg first (another X will create a girl, and a Y will create a boy). The amount of soy a woman consumes while pregnant has no effect on the gender of the child. Proof? Pamela Anderson is a vegetarian (no doubt lots of soy-related products there), and both of her children are boys.
