I am obsessed with origins. Such a romantic setting, very Laurence of Arabia. I’m actually replaying it now! I wonder if it’s worth getting the dlc? It’s still so overpriced
Yeah personally I think its almost criminal that we didn't get a trilogy with Bayek hands down the best assassin since Ezio imo.
Can't comment on the DLC as I have never played but I know it got really good reviews.
One thing AC usually excels at is cinematic trailers. So I hope they put together a good one for this can just picture it now.Oh yeah, i think so far its my favorite setting.
The Vibrant colors, the landscape, its all so incredible to look at.
Sadly it didnt get the same level of content Odyssey gets, you pretty fast got to the point where you have seen all...which of course is also because you have to a large extent "just" sand and that can get a bit boring after a while.
Odysseys landscape has a bit more variety and more missions, weapons etc.
I do hope we get back there one day because i dont think we "need" to lock a setting into just one game.
You can go back there a few hundred years later or so and tell another story.
But for now i just wanna meet the Viking "Assassins", dont care for anything else.![]()
"Start with a fleet of Viking ships crossing a very storm sea towards England. They arrive on the beach and see the walled city of York and hurry towards it, they use the element of surprise to start attacking settlements outside the city and use ladders to breach the walls. From there you could show the ensuing panic and violence as the Vikings pillage their way through the city showing the Vikings to only really be interested in gold, silver and other treasures they can take back. Then you show the usual Templar organising his men to stop the invaders. That's where you first show our protagonist as he is looting a house he see's the Templar leaders cross on his shirt and pulls out a piece of parchment with a drawing of that cross. From there you see the majority of the Viking and English forces meet in a courtyard with our protagonist commanding the Viking's and the Templar commanding the English. You could show off some of the cooler Viking legends like a few Berserkers charging at the full English fighting force taking multiple arrows and still cutting down soldiers this causes the English to lose morale and the Vikings overwhelm them. You finish by having the Viking assassin standing over the dead Templar and taking his cross."
