Spoiled. What else can ya say about them? :o

Well, he must have re-signed after the Cards let him go, but I know for a fact that he was signed and then cut by AZ.

No new developments in the Drew Brees saga. I'm becoming impatient,

-Dolphins apparently met with free agent Mike Vanderjagt (K)

I'm not happy about this at all. The QB situation was supposed to be settled today.

What the hell for?! He's pretty comparable to Mare and Olindo's younger. Unless Mare's calf injury is still nagging him, I don't get it. Plus, after that choke job in the Colts/Steelers game, I wonder about Vanderjerk.

I've been waiting all weekend. Friday I thought Daunte was on his way to Miami after hearing Minnesota wanted to trade him before free agency started. Then there was a chance of Brees signing by the end of the weekend. It's been "We'll know in 24hrs" since Thursday night. It's Monday going on Tuesday!

Anyway, I don't know about Vanderjagt. He's accurate, but has been known to choke at big time moments. I don't think I'm interested.

Nope, not at all - I am simply indifferent towards them so I can view the situation without bias. The guy as 3 rings, 2 Super Bowl MVP trophies and is constantly one of the top QB's in the NFL. There may be only one QB EVER to be as cool and calm as he is under pressure and as you said he has only played a handfull of years. He could retire now and walk into the Hall of Fame, thus he is one of the GREATEST EVER.

Its could of been a situation that his style simply did not mesh with the Defensive scheme or personality problems between player and coach. Not every player can be great in every system. Jeramiah Trotter was simply decent when he moved to the 'Skins, was released and then signed back with the Eagles and was still fantastic because of the system.

The Vanderjagt to Miami thing baffles me. As far as the QB situation goes I would opt for Culpepper personally, he is more mobile, has a better career, and is a Florida boy.

Is he really that cool and calm under pressure? I remember when they played the Chiefs last season (since, after all, it was a Chiefs game), and from the start, the Chiefs were blitzing a lot, and Jared Allen, a DE, sacked Brady on the Pat's opening possession, and he was completely thrown off and frustrated for the rest of the game.

You can not reference one game and base an opinion off of that. Look at what he has done when it matters, two game winning drives in the Super Bowl. Plus listen to any Football Expert when they talk about Tom Brady, they always bring up his presence, confident and his ability to stay cool under pressure. THat is his trademark.

Whatever you say. It just strikes me as hard to believe when the last game I saw him under a lot of pressure in was like that.

Guys, enough with the Brady vs. Marino thing. It's completely off-topic.

Dolphins get Culpepper for 2nd Round pick; trade is obviously contingent on Miami's examination of Culpepper's knee.

Brees goes to Saints; 6 years/$60M; Saints were willing to offer more upfront money than MIA

Miami actually pulled the trigger on the Culpepper trade before the NO-Brees deal. Speculation is that the Dolphins saw something in the Brees' physical that worried them.

Keyshawn? Im bummed we didnt get Brees but hopefully Culpepper can do the job. Espeically with Chris "Ill Drop Every Pass Unless its for a touchdown" Chambers.

Miami will add another receiver. Possibly Eric Moulds or even T.O. (whose preference was to play for Miami aslong as they had a QB. They have a QB now) :D

Trust me, like I said before Daunte is a better fit in Miami than Brees. Now maybe we can snag Keyshawn for cheap and pair him with Chambers. Keyshawn still has some good years left :) as long as he removes his head from his ass.
