NFL - Game On

They should have gotten rid of #5 after the end of last year. Horribly coached team......

Yeah I'm surprised with them having 2 first round picks they didn't bring in someone new to coach the team, especially if you're taking a QB. I could see Baltimore's OC Todd Monken being eyed for that role if Eberflus is fired after the year. They have some great weapons on offense. Need to get someone in there that can turn that offense around.

I dont think Stefanski is on the hot seat. Dude won COTY last year for a 2nd time and they said there was an agreed upon extension before the season started. Though we don't know length or anything. So I think he is safe this year. But, I can see him being on the hot seat entering next year if the season keeps going this direction

I forgot all about that. Yeah he might be safe for another year unless the Browns completely hit rock bottom this season.

Not a surprise that the Cowboys defeated the Giants because it's a team they were expected to defeat according to FPI, the spread favored Dallas, and they are a better team on paper except not by a landslide because the Giants do have talented players.

I think what you are trying to say is that Dallas was favored by 4.

Man. If Darnold keeps playing like this, and I think he will, Minn is going to be very tough to beat. I know some people are surprised by how good he's been this year, but I'm only "slightly" surprised. He showed signs last year that he was figuring out the game and looks to have made significant strides this year.

EDIT: I just read that the Vikes signed Darnold to a 1 year $10M contract. I've got money that says they wish they had made it a 3 or 4 year deal. :funny: He's looking like a top 10 QB to my eyes......and there's a lot of damn good QBs in this league.

I have to see it beyond 1 season. Fitzmagic has had stretched where he looked like John Elway, lol. But not for long periods or multiple years. If he becomes a franchise guy, good for him though

Holy hot damn Falcons win :shock

What some of y’all might not realize, is the kicker Younghoe Koo played his college ball here in Georgia, so he is a fan favorite but now even more so for making an epic FG to get a win :D

Dudes and Dudettes......I just saw the Matthew McConaughey NFL "food" commercial and that's some Super Bowl S***. :lmao:

Like, WT EF happened to the NFC South?!?!?!? I didn't expect the Saints to be nearly as good as they are, but, damn, other than Carolina (unless they are playing my Raiders LOL), there aren't any easy outs.

As the great Dinah Washington once sang "What a Difference a Day Makes"...only this time it's a year...

Brock Purdy is a lot of fun to watch and is the only thing really making this game worth a damn for me. Patriots may not win another game this year.

The Browns are so hard to watch this year lol

GODDAMN....unless Jayden Daniels has been really, really lucky so far, the Commanders have themselves a bona fide star.....Dude looks like this year's Stroud.....only noticeably better.

I love the Sunday Ticket because you never know what gems of a game you will find.

Dude......don't.....so are the Raiders. :funny:
I am watching this game, and I see a lot more hope on your side. Have you watched our offense this game? The defense got lucky just now 1 play, but they've been mediocre. Especially for a "top" defense, and the Browns have just an entire offense of line that's just dead money. They're just useless and couldn't block a team of 70 year old grand mothers. This team is just....my blood is boiling

Both of us are in the Valley of Despair.....just a step up from the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Praise the Lord for the Sunday Ticket. :funny:

What I'm saying is the result was completely expected since the Cowboys on paper are a far better team than the Giants so the result of the Cowboys defeating the Football Giants is entirely expected.

I'm very happy that I don't work today on NFL Week 4 Monday so I'll be able to relax at Old Chicago to watch the Seahawks play the Lions, and my Titans play the Dolphins.
The Titans have a very realistic chance of defeating the Dolphins in Miami because Thompson if he's starting is just good, not great.

The Titans need to score above 17 points because their defense can't hold a team to 10 points or 14 points, Levis plays smoothly as a game manager, and the Titans make less mistakes than the Dolphins.

Quite a difference from last year, when Joe Flacco was their quarterback and they made it to the playoffs. :(

The Falcons flew high vs the Saints by making a long-range field goal late in a thrilling close game that made the gamblers very happy to bet on the Falcons to prevail because that happened.
The Saints for 2 consecutive weeks have seen the adversity of losing competitive games which shows it was wise to not overreact to the very pretty wins in NFL Week 1 and 2.

It was unsurprising that the Buccanneers demolished the Eagles because the Eagles continue to stink like cow manure since they've been in a long slump going back to last season.

The Chargers reminded us they aren't a Super Bowl contender because they lost to a great Chiefs team in a close game. The highest area the Chargers can reach this season is make the playoffs as a Wild Card, and win a coin flip game in Los Angeles.
They don't have the experience and the equally talented players to defeat the Bills, Texans, Chiefs, or Ravens on the road.
The Chargers defense going in Baltimore doesn't have a pipe dream of containing Derrick the Bulldozer Henry, along with the dual threat of Jackson. The long-shot realistic chance of them prevailing vs the Ravens in Baltimore would be win TOP so that Jackson and Henry are on the field less aka the best defense is a good offense that wins TOP.

The Ravens demolished the Bills in Baltimore which was not a complete surprise since they felt pretty confident after they bulldozed the Cowboys mostly before the Cowboys had an unsuccessful comeback.
It's a huge statement win for the Ravens because they didn't just give the Bills their first loss, they outplayed them in all aspects of an undramatic game that was never in doubt, along with holding the Bills to a measly 10 points on Sunday Night Football.
The Ravens flew very high with that high bar impressive signature win over the Bills.

The 49ers got back on the winning track by outplaying a terrible Patriots team despite the strong effort by the Patriots to compete with the intent to win. It was an entirely unsurprising result since the rebuilding Patriots had no realistic chance of defeating the 49ers in Levi's Stadium.

The Jets reminded their fans that they are infamous for finding Charlie Brown-style ways to lose since they missed a game-winning field goal. The Broncos-Jets game was low-scoring, however can't say it wasn't entertaining including with the Jets finding the unforgettable Wile E Coyote way to fail with a glorious choke job.
While that game-winning field goal had the successful distance however it didn't travel to the exact right area aka it was a long distance missed field goal.
Kudos to the rebuilding Broncos with Nix since that is now 2 consecutive games they've won after 2 very disappointing defeats because they couldn't close vs the Seahawks in a thrilling close game, and the Steelers made them a pawn winning a low scoring game and have the high bar feat of holding them to a measly 6 points.

Thanks to god for another MNF game opposite the Titans v Miami (without Tua). I'm pretty sure the medical community is considering reruns of that game in lieu of anesthesia. :funny:
