NFL - Game On

One week closer to the NFL Draft! Raiders moving to that top pick!

Desmond Ridder looked decent torwards the end of the game. Good TD to Bowers.

I like Bowers. He has a lot of upside and tons of potential.

I admit that I thought the guy had seen better days. I expected him to do pretty well, but nothing like this. I guess if you're on a better team, it maybe helps. :o

His off-season regimen and dedication are top tier. He is very dedicated which i think is a huge reason why he is able to stay so consistently and most importantly, healthy

I took him late in my fantasy draft. As a Raiders fan, I tend not to draft Raiders players anymore (learned after my first year of fantasy lol) but Bowers was the exception. Glad I went with him.

Raiders had such a winnable game against the Chiefs, and then Minshew fumbled the ball lol.

One week closer to the draft!

I was hoping the raiders would atleast make it convincing. Who is gonna beat the chiefs?

Lamar Jackson.....are you Fing kidding me??? You know what play I'm talking about....

EDIT: Andrews in beast mode. The TD was icing on the cake, but that catch where he elevated was a thing of beauty...

EDIT2: Ravens are a better team....at least they were late in the game, but caught some breaks. Even with 49 ticks and 2 TOs, I think they get in range for a FG. Refs didn't do a very good job in this game.

I did see the rebuilding Titans defeat the Patriots 20-17 in Nissan Stadium last week in Overtime. I was amazed the Titans had the Any Given Sunday ending because of an interception that ended the game in overtime after Hooker took a knee.
Also because I predicted the Titans would defeat the Patriots in a thrilling close game 24-17 which was mostly in that area because it was that kind of game, the Patriots did score exactly 17 points, and the Titans were 4 points short of what I predicted they would score so it mostly was in the right area for final score even though not exactly right.
This was a huge rebound win for the rebuilding Titans after that abomination in Detroit that became a joke in the second quarter and got worse in the second half.

It's not surprising the Ravens showed the rebuilding Broncos that they aren't in that same Top Gun league because the Ravens demolished the Broncos in an uncompetitive game that was as abysmal as the final score.
Derrick Herny is the Running Bulldozer who easily ran roughshod on the Broncos' defense.
The Ravens made the Broncos a pawn in the city where Edgar Allan Poe died.

The Saints fans can be more depressed because the Panthers played slightly better to win the game, and because the Saint's early season success of 2 games is proving to be fool's gold.

Jerry Jones was criticized for not making the offseason moves to improve the Cowboys, and now he's seeing the frustrating fruit that the naysayers being proven right because the Cowboys continue to be a team with huge holes like the Bay Transformers movies or the terribly written (2011) Green Lantern movie aka that infamous box office bomb.
Cowboys fans can be very happy that most likely they'll see winning seasons from the Dallas Stars, and the Dallas Mavericks since it's unlikely the Cowboys can achieve a winning season.

@Karelia

We're lookin good!!! Carolina, Saints, and Pats WIN!!! We're moving to the top of the heap. Too bad the Jags are such head cases, they might have actually beaten the Vikes.

Things are looking up. We just need a couple of teams to get on a roll (Go you Giants, Titans, Fins, and Jags). This is really exciting. :funny:

Moved from pick 7 to 3 on that draft board on a bye week. Talk about a total dub LOL! I'm just worried the Raiders end up winning a few games with Ridder and bouncing us out of the top 5. Hopefully a there's a team willing to trade with us in the top 3 so they can get a QB. Or Shedeur Sanders can just pull an Eli (his daddy already pretty much confirmed he would lol.)

National news media outlets are even saying it's a fit for Sanders to go. The connections with Brady help that too... I just think it will end up being a package deal with his dad coming in as HC. Maybe not, but the Raiders would probably do it lol.

I hope the Cowboys don't cause us any problems, but they're also looking "good". :funny:

So I was looking at our "tough" games left on the schedule. Those would be the Miami Fins, and the mighty Jags. The Giants have winnable games against the Cowboys, Saints, and Colts. Titans play the Jags and the Colts. The Browns play the Saints, so I say we're shooting for number ! baby!!! :funny:

Go you Dolphins.....beat the Rams.....I don't think so, but a guy can only hope....

Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay......

Chiefs Bills should be a fun game to see if the bills can contain Pat Mahomes. Seems to me the super bowl is a collision course for lions chiefs.

@Spider-Fan

Being a Raider fan, I was looking over the possible draft picture and it looks like your boys may be in a strong position to draft a QB. I think Watson's contract goes through 2028??? What the hell are they gonna to with that guy if they draft a QB (and they certainly will if they get the opportunity)? Watson's cap hit has got to be gargantuan as it is and if they release him, I don't know if they could even field a team.

Any word on what they're gonna do?......man, I'm not trying to rub it in, but holy hell did that ever blow up in their faces. It kind of makes the Broncos bringing in Russell Wilson look like a stroke of genius.

I think the most cost effective option is backup QB for next or let him sit home and collect a paycheck. I wouldn't be surprised by either option. After next year, they can entertain making him a post June 1st cut in 2026.

But we will see. This year's QB class is meh
