NFL - Game On

I think the most cost effective option is backup QB for next or let him sit home and collect a paycheck. I wouldn't be surprised by either option. After next year, they can entertain making him a post June 1st cut in 2026.

But we will see. This year's QB class is meh
So naturally our teams are in the running for 1 or 2. :funny:

Thursday Night Football tonight should be a thrilling NFC East team with 2 pretty good winning teams.
2 NFC East teams with 2 solid Dual Threat Qbs, and the Eagles have the home-field advantage, a great RB that is Barkley, and a deep threat wr that is AJ Brown.
These are all reasons why I don't see the Commanders overcoming those obstacles to win a challenging, high-stakes division game in Philadelphia.

I'm pretty happy that the rebuilding Titans looked better vs the Chargers because when they played the Lions it was a game that stopped being competitive after the first quarter.
Also, it seemed like it' was the tuck rule again when what looked like an apparent fumble returned for a touchdown by the Titan's defense got overturned because of the ruling that Herbert had control of the football so in other words it was overturned being ruled as incomplete pass.

That is the explanation to justify the controversial ruling that the play that appeared to be a fumble was overturned and ruled an incomplete pass because, from what was seen, Herbert had control of the football.
I am much less unhappy that the rebuilding Titans had this happen in what became a rebuilding season instead of a smooth season where they could realistically make the playoffs with a winning record.

I'm just hoping the Jags and the Titans split their remaining two games and the Giants can beat either the Cowboys, Saints (who aren't nearly as bad with Carr), or the Colts. The Raiders need a high pick LOL. It would be icing on the cake if the Browns (somehow) found a way to win a game.....but, uh.........

Just lose baby!!

would like to see the Commanders pull this one out tonight

I was just getting on here to discuss "sorta" this. I haven't watch Sanders much this year at QB. I watched him a lot last year and thought he was hot and cold, but if today is any indication, dude looks great. I can't judge him on one game, but that 47 year TD throw couldn't have been put in a better spot if you handed it to him.

Go Raiders!!! LOL It would be SO Raiders to have Sanders at QB and Sanders as coach. :funny:

EDIT.....Hell, draft Shilo too. LOL

They must have fined him because the refs missed the call. That was no "blow to the head" and doesn't deserve a fine. The refs are the ones who need to have their pay docked.

Chiefs Bills should be a fun game to see if the bills can contain Pat Mahomes. Seems to me the super bowl is a collision course for lions chiefs.

The Chiefs have been lucky this year. Very lucky. There's a lot of game that they could have lost. Pacheco coming back should help the offense.

The Dolphins beat the Raiders in a closely watched and meaningful game that didn't disappoint or surprise Raider fans. The Raiders have one tough hurdle left when they face the mighty Jaguars. It should be a thrilling contest between two of the top teams in the league and the TV ratings will surely be among the best of the season.....

Literally after the loss today, Sheduer tweeted this out... as he has after every Raiders loss lol! (He doesn't tweet this when they have won.)

My mom is a huge Bills fan. She is a happy fan today. I'm glad the Bills got it done. Hopefully they can in the playoffs as well.

Bills vs Lions superbowl would be great.

I think the Browns have the inside track for the #1 pick, but maybe they can beat the Fins. The rest of their games look like sure losses, but I suppose you never know.

Shedeur will Eli his way out of Clevland. Deion has already said he will 100% do it for his son. I think he will do his best to get him in Vegas. I know there's other teams he's okay with, but Sheduer has made it very clear he wants to new a Raider haha. He got silver & black cleats last week and said "shoutout to the Raiders."

I just wish the Raiders could get Shedeur & Travis Hunter. Or maybe trade back into the first for that Boise State RB. That guy looks unreal.

Cam Ward looks good in Miami. Idk about Jalen Milroe from Alabama. QB class next year, I don't know who looks NFL QB ready. Sheduer and Ward are the only two I would bet on.

I don't think Sanders will have the clout to do the Eli thing. It isn't like his kid is John Elway good or has something like the Manning name. Sanders isn't a brand at QB like the others. So inevitably he can try and whine his way out of being drafted by the Browns or whoever, but unless the man is willing to sit out an entire NFL season and kill his draft stock and credibility moving forward....he's going wherever he is drafted

Justin Herbert is just making some ridiculous throws. Dude just threw a 35 yard laser that was a jump pass. I didn't realize Cincy's D was that bad, but that throw and the first TD couldn't have been put in a better spot.

Elway was also a standout MLB prospect....as was Bo Jackson and that was the reason the Raiders got him. The thing is Sanders might just sit out and if a team even thinks that's a possibility, I think they'll make a concession of some sort. Coming away with nothing with the #1 pick in the draft is a killer. Cam might even be a safer choice.

Even if the Browns do get the the top pick, I don't think drafting Sanders is a sure thing.

Deon can threaten it, but I also think Deon is aware his kid isn't John Elway good and cannot fulfill that threat. He may hold out or something, but he would sign with the team in the end.
