NFL - Game On

Anyone who's watched the Chiefs this year know they're one of the worst 11-1 teams to play the game, now we have stats to prove it lol.

@InCali Raiders run has been terrible, but this was the first game they utilized Mccormick, I think he may end up being good RB for the Raiders. Let's see how he does the rest of the season.

It was a divisional game, so I knew the 13 point spread was ridiculous. I figured they would be competitive and lose a close one, it's just how they lost is what's a little upsetting. Carlson probably had the worst game of his Raider career. I know it was cold and probably a little windy, but missing 3 kicks did them no favors.

Brock Bowers probably should be considered for rookie of the year, let's be real.

Kelce leaving the game before shaking hands made me laugh.

Almost all of the Chiefs wins haven't felt believable lol, almost purely on luck...

I do think Raiders can make some noise next year, we will see.

For those who weren't able to watch the Chiefs v Raiders (first consider yourselves lucky), the Raiders were down by 2 with 11 seconds left in the game and in field goal range on 2nd down. The center snaps the ball before the line was set and the QB was even looking for the ball. It bounces off the QBs shoulder, hits the ground and KC recovers it. However, since the linemen weren't set, a flag was thrown (I think illegal formation), BUT since KC recovered the ball, they declined the penalty and ran out the clock. Chiefs win......LOL

I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.....
Trying to one up the Bears? Lol

I want to say I read Ben Johnson (Lions OC) was about to head to the Bears for a HC spot, but decided to stick with Lions, they offered him a lot of money to stay. It's possible maybe after this year he goes there. If he doesn't, maybe a Robert Saleh or ole Billy Belechik? Vrabel would be fun, even though I think if Raiders move on from AP, Vrabel will end up coaching the Raiders. Another Brady connection.

ROY will probably go to Daniels because of the position and Nix has been playing really well lately, so I see them as the most likely to win. That being said, Bowers was a great pick and he's a big difference maker. I can't even IMAGINE where the Raiders would be without him. He can use some help at the WR position, but he has "All Pro" written all over him. Look, I know it's early, but if he isn't injured, I don't see how he isn't a future HOF player. I mean, he's leading the league in receptions as a rookie with Minshew and Hutchinson throwing to him (Aidan looked pretty damn good yesterday and if he continues to look THAT good......).

I like Vrabel as a coach. The Titan's problem wasn't him. LOL

Me too. He had the Titans in the playoffs multiple seasons and took them to an AFC Championship. I remember that last season he coached, my buddy who is a Titans fan wanted him fired. Don't think he realized how good they had it, maybe now he does LOL.

If AP is one and done, then Vrabel will be the heavy favorite for the next Raiders HC. He's a solid coach, and could strengthen the Raiders D (if everyone can comeback healthy next year they should be much more formattable.....looking Malcolm Koonce days before the season and Wilkerson in week 4 was brutal).

THAT BEING SAID...since more likely than not we will be drafting a QB high in the draft; they may look to a more offensive minded HC to mentor their new QB whether it be Sanders or Ward. Though if Vrabel can get himself a stellar OC on retainer than maybe. Brian Daboll maybe? Though I would imagine Ben Johnson will be making a stop in LV for an interview. He's going to be able to pick where he works: whether it be Chicago, NY, LV etc.

Maybe the Rams will cut Sean McVay loose and the Raiders can hire him as OC.....

The bottom line is that if the Raiders draft Sanders, it'll probably be coach Prime and what we should really be looking at is a defensive coordinator. Honestly, I'd hate to pass on Henry (EDIT: eek.....HUNTER LOL) if he's available. Man, that dude is a one off.

That hit on Trevor Lawrence... YIKES. This is the stuff the league really needs to work on improving (and it has gotten much better) over those weird tick tacky calls that really don't matter.

The Jets seem intent on upstaging the Raiders and Bears as the stupidest team in the NFL......the work by the Jets defense was as pathetic as I've ever seen. I think they need to change their name to the "Boeing Jets". :funny:

Hey @DarthSkywalker when we play again next year, do you mind not embarrassing me again? 3 times in the last 4 years seems like plenty :o

I honestly thought that kick was gonna be good for a second there. If we had picked up like 4 more yards it was going in.

I was watching it with my father. He was like, "they won already right?" It took all my strength not to yell at him for jinxing it. He's lucky it was short. :o

At the very least, I can be thankful this game was more exciting than the last two have been. Germany and Sam Ehlinger haunt me :hehe:
