NFL - Game On

@P Supreme

Does anything warm your heart any more than seeing Dallas losing to a team that doesn't want to win?

Highlight of the day for me. LOL

Someone mentioned this earlier, but what a disappointing pile of S*** of early games in week 3. I looked and looked and looked for a decent game, but just about everything was a dud....I spent most of my time watching Chargers v Vikes and JFC is Justin Herbert ever GOOD. I'm a Raider fan and can never root for the Chargers, but Herbert looks way better than he did last year.....and he was awful good then. He reminds me of a bigger (he's 6' 6" FFS), more athletic Dan Marino and has that ridiculously fast release (not Marino fast, but really fast). Other than Mahomes, I don't see anyone I'd rather have; and I'm not even too sure of that. He looks like he's throwing more over the top this year, although he still does that sidearm thing when necessary (threw a ball that should have been caught UNDER a D lineman's arm), is consistently throwing dimes, and it doesn't seem to matter whether he's moving to his right or left. Plus, he's got as much confidence as any QB in the league; he KNOWS he can make those nearly impossible passes. I don't see a more accurate arm in the NFL.
100%
Since the first time I saw him as a rookie, I have been enamored with Herbert. The Marino comparison is a good one. It is crazy to think that Burrow gets so much more publicity than Herbert. I’d take Herbert any day of the week. And as he showed against your Raiders last year, the guy is clutch in the fourth. He will make the passes that he needs to make.

If only his coaches and defense were as committed...

Yeah so tired of the Burrow hype. Go out and actually do something and we'll talk (ok a bit of an exaggeration, but tired of the Bengals and their slow starts).

Our Avys are as stretched as my patience is with the Raiders. LOL

* Dolphins putting up 70 on the Broncos today. And all of that without Jaylen Waddle.
* Jags blowing it against a relatively easy opponent. Confidence builder for CJ Stroud.
* Cowboys appear to be reeling psychologically from the loss of Trevon Diggs. Like Jacksonville, you can't afford to lose these types of
games when you are a front runner.
* You know what, screw Week 3. At least next week we get Miami @ Buffalo.

Man... Josh is really bad coach.

The first time he called for a Field Goal kick was already kinda questionable... but when they got to the 10 to kick a FG... I lost all faith in the dude. Unbelievable.

Jimmy G is looking like the bad version of Derek Carr, happy feet included.

Can't see Adams sticking around much longer. Shoot, Crosby is a Raider, but he's probably gonna bail before too long if they keep this crap up.

I know it's week 3, but this season feels like a wrap already lol. I would say have O'Connell activated for next week ready to play and see what he's got... if he sucks...

Just draft Caleb Williams plz...

Yes it does
wrecked my parlay but so worth it :)

Zack Wilson and the Jets took away the attention from us which is appreciated

McDaniel took that Knee but I doubt Payton would have done the same im so glad he is getting humiliated he is the most overrated coach in my lifetime maybe other than Gruden

that Miami vs Broncos game reminded me
Belechick can still put together a steller defense

that QB class of Jones, Lance , Wilson and Fields looks like one of the worst

Jury is still out on Lawrence but that was bad loss by JAC yesterday

Fields just doesn't see the field Chicage writers really pegged him for MVP consideration this year lolol

The Pats in general have surprised me. They have played better than their record indicates and they are going to give teams some problems. I had hoped that Wilson could make some progress, but, uh, well, if you watched the game, you know what I think of that now. Pats D was really good and so was the Jets, but the Jets looked absolutely pathetic across the board on offense......no passing.....no run game.....poor O line play. I guess it could be argued that a lot of that had to do with the Pats D, but I consider their defense very solid, but not great. A decent offense with a decent QB should score more than 10 on them.

On to next week.......

it's unfortunate they put all the chips on Rodgers (I would have also) and he goes down nobody on that team if they being honest wanted to see Wilson under center ever again he lost the locker last year and already 3 games in has lost the locker room
lip readers caught Garret Wilson saying "He can't throw the ball" not sure what he meant cause the kid has a cannon but he can't see pass 5 yds

Buffalo vs Miami should be good next week Kelly vs Marino the new generation

That game against the Vikes could have gone either way, BUT there's no way the Chargers win it, or are even in it, without Herbert. That's what he does....he keeps you in games you should lose and wins you games that are tossups. A few of those passes had me shaking my head.

1. He's moving to his left and throws a completion that flew about 40 yards across his body on the RIGHT hand side of the field......you aren't supposed to do that....

2. Drops a dime that also went about 40 yards that was about 3 inches above the defenders fingertips and into the lap of the receiver.

3. Throws a howitzer into the end zone that Parham caught. To be fair, Parham helped out big on that one, but if Herbert doesn't do exactly what he did, that pass gets picked off. That pass was classic Marino.

Too bad the dude isn't with a team that has great coaching and isn't snake bitten. The Chargers have had more than their share of injuries. Without Herbert, that team has no chance of making the playoffs.

That was one of the most beautiful throws I’ve seen in a while. The touch that he showed was off the charts. Amazing that he’s also adept at throwing downfield the way that he does.

I hope that Kellen Moore ends up being good for him.

Leading up to the Fins/Bills game next week, I did a little research and found out that Tyreek Hill was drafted in the FIFTH round of the 2016 draft. The FIFTH freakin' round! How could so many NFL scouts be that stupid? When all is said and done, he might go down as one of the greatest WRs to play the game, right up there with Rice and Moss.

2nd straight 100+ yard game from Philly RB D'Andre Swift. Philly definitely has a better O than last year.
That's a pretty scary thought for the rest of the NFC.

It's not a surprise that the best Jets QB Joe Nameth said he's seen enough of Zach Wilson since he continues to show he's a Bust.
The Jets found an entertaining way to disappoint vs a main rival the Patriots because the Hail Mary Pass was the needed long distance, however despite being catchable a Jets wr wasn't able to catch the football.

The Broncos managed to achieve an abysmal defensive feat which is the Dolphins scored 70 in a glorious dumpster fire game. 70 is the second most points scored by an NFL team in an NFL regular season game or playoff game.
Scott Van Pelt would have so much trash to talk about the Broncos for Bad Beats.

Listen, I like Taylor Swift. I like Travis Kelce. But it's only been two days and I'm already so very tired of hearing about it. You would think that the entire future of humanity solely rests upon these two getting together.
Swifties are becoming an invasive species :o

Yeah , on MNF when they brought it up, I went on a 5 minute long rant to my wife about how much I don't give a crap about whatever is going on between them and I don't watch football for TMZ garbage. Seriously, talk about the game.

He went to the perfect situation and unlocked his true potential Andy Reid has been making dudes $$ forever
Kevin Kolb got 4 years 40 mil, playing under that dude D. Jackson was fast AF too but once Reid left he bounced around the league

Kudos to Hill for making it work without Reid but I credit him being drafted to Andy Reid as a big component

oh and that Maholmes guy is ok i guess lolol

Meh.....the NFL is all about hype and if they can drag in a few more eyes, they'll do it. This really has nothing to do with Swift and Kelce, but is about the NFL media machine. She wouldn't give an EF if no one mentioned her; she doesn't need it and neither, to a lesser extent, does Kelce. Personally, I take them completely out of this equation. They weren't behind the cameras and they weren't writing the script.

I can ignore it, but if others can't, point to the media madness.

(Also, I'm not saying you blame them. Your post doesn't rag on anyone, but, rather, seems to suggest you just find it annoying.....kinda like when I see that Kars for Kids commercial.....or whatever it's called... with those annoying pink kids.....I just turn off the sound). LOL
