NHL 2K9 Demo is out!

I've finally gotten around to playing the NHL 2K9 demo, and it's definitely convinced me: gonna buy this one when it comes out. I may end up getting it for the Wii, because I have been waaaiting for a hockey game for the wii remote, but the gameplay on 360 is pretty awesome too. I particularly love the controls; they're incredibly improved over 2K8, and once you get used to them they feel so intuitive.

Anyone else played it yet?

but see, in 09 it's just kinda meh, more of the same old same old. The AI difficulty is so unnaturally high, too, that if any of the players so much as comes near you when you have the puck, it's automatically gone, there's like no way to prevent it.

Whereas 2K9 has the Wii aspect too, in addition to the better controls on 360. We don't have a hockey game for the Wii, and that's what really has got my attention. Game's out tomorrow, I'm definitely going to go pick it up after work one of these days.

I enjoyed the 2k9 demo, I'm underwhelmed by the graphics though. I was hoping for a noticeable improvement in player models this year.
