I have really enjoyed beast in whedon's run and all-new x-men (2012). he gets such great treatment in the comics, and there's so much tech and sci-fi around him! it's a shame hoult's beast doesn't get that treatment, as attested to by this lonely thread : (

Kelsey Grammer's version should have been in the future part of DoFP, explaining the time travel stuff...

Kelsey is far more superior. Not only that Nicholas gets an unmemorable role but he lacks the mannerisms that Beast have in the comics, not to mention he's quite skinny/lean for Beast.
