Haha... I wish there wasn't some dumb rule against linking vids with curse words, because I really want to post that clip from 'Do the Right Thing' when Buggin Out's Air Jordans get scoffed. :awesome:

Personally I miss LA Lights from the early 90's. When you were in 4th grade and you rocked those, you were the man.

Those shoes look like sick Tron boots, but at 29 I feel a bit old for them.

EDIT: You have to fix your Youtube link though.

On the one hand you're right about being a little to old... I'm 25 and its a close call: wear them or just have them "to have them". But on the other hand - this is what every 80-child would want haha, and I'll be damned if I dont wear them every day just because of that :dkm:

I just hope they make them available everywhere, dont charge thousands of dollars, and in reasonable quantity.

Seen all three sucka. I just don't think those shoes should exist. If I can't have a Bulldog hoverboard, then I don't want those busted lookin shoes. I will on the other hand take those self-adjusting self-drying jackets, and those weird shades Doc Brown wore in the second movie.

If people didn't have social prejudices about how someone my age should act, then I'd totally wear it. How come you can only afford cool crap like that, once you're too old for it? It's like how you can only afford a sports car when you're in your 50's and married. One of life's cruel jokes. :csad:

Who cares what other people think? A friend of mine is 29 and he has the most ridiculous collection of Nike's I've ever seen and he wears them proudly.

One pair look like space shoes, another pair has wings on either side like Hermes, there's a pair that glow in the dark... He's got ones that were based on what Matthew Broderick wore as Ferris Bueller... etc.

Besides, they're just shoes, man.

I have been a huge BTTF fan since I was only 3 years old. They're the films that got me into sci-fi. My handle is even inspired by Doc Brown. Taking these things into account, I only have one thing to say:

Ah, well, I too would take the jacket and the shades before the MAGS, but I would take the MAGS in an instance anyway.

What is it about the shoes you dont like? The're RAD DUDE!:awesome: Self-tying!

I'd like to pretend I don't care what other people think and to a degree I don't, but I'm a teacher so I'm either in a classroom where I have to wear loafers as part of the dress-code, or on the weekends when I'm in a club and I don't want to have fancier shoes than the girl I'm trying to chat up. I guess I could rock them on a sunday or something, but the novelty would wear off once they got scoffed and worn.

There is an enforced dress-code for teachers where you work
Where I work ( IT for a known gaz compagny ) there is no issue with casual cloth, you can wear jeans, sport shoes and even T-shirt ( Friday wear for me ).
Anyway, I am 36 and I have no shame wearing Converse shoes and if the AIR MAG are affordable I may buy a pair.

I remember when somebody posted the plans for these shoes on this board sometime last year. I can't believe they're actually releasing them, I have to get myself a pair.

And yes I am 27 and I really don't care what other people think about me, if I like it then I will buy and wear it proudly.

Not complaining but wouldnt it have been better to release this closer to 2015? haha

**** what the people around you think. You want them and can afford them?

Get them. :)

A bit too much high top for my tastes & don't look all that comfortable. Most people would have to have legs the size of bean poles to get into them anyways.

I'm a teacher to (well, not yet... in a year) but i have been temping on schools and obviously I'm not gonna wear this kind of shoes then. But on my free time? Hells yeah!

Yes. It's not too strict, but it's smart-casual. No sneakers, jeans or t-shirts.

Ok fair enough but no jeans ( and I mean jeans with no hole ) is too much IMO ( even high level managers wear jeans here ).

They look like snow boots or maybe ice skates.

BTTF shoes? Those shall be purchased!!

I'm 23 and I'm sure I'll utterly stupid in them but damnit I'll be 2015 Marty for a con one day!!

...Only 1500 will be available...in an auction... on ebay?
