Or it could be that Nintendo is deep into celebrating Mario's 25th anniversary right now, and this is one of the several items they are releasing for that milestone.

Oh, and the Wii has several top tier games coming out this year. So do your homework before you post.

yeah all the companies do it. MS did it with Halo, last year with Modern Warfare and this year with FF XIII. Sony did it with MGS4, FFXIII in Japan and there are many more examples on both sides

I even noticed the remote comes with built in Motion Plus. I guess that's also a bonus in some respects.

The Wiiremote plus is due to be released on a large scale in a month or so.

It is going to become the standard controller packed in the games and system
