The Dark Knight No Dale in TDK

Damn, and I was so sure as well....

Wondering who local boy Alan Dale ("The OC", "Ugly Betty") is playing in the forthcoming Caped Crusader Crusade, "The Dark Knight", I dropped a contact an email to see whether we can get any kind of hint on who the New Zealand-born actor might be in the film.

The answer? No one.

Dale isn't involved in the film. Apparently it's an "out-of-control rumour". Dale hasn't been in contact with "anyone from the film".

So consider that rumour squashed.

Dale's next film is the horror pic "I, Remember" co-starring "Sopranos" hottie Jamie-Lynn DiScala.

That means there's at least 1 piece of casting left for TDK (provided Maroni is still in it...)


Forget Pacino, or Gandolfini...


Either it'll be an unexpected brit (maybe like Wilkinson), or someone with an Italian background (Ray Liotta?)

Thats one thing I liked about Wilkinson, he wasn't the unrealistic, romantized Godfather-mobsters.
