I'd like to express that i am very sad and i disagree that Katie Holmes will not come back for the sequel. Honestly, it sucks! I'm very, very disappointed about this because i think she did great in the first movie and i think she's too important (at least her character is) to be replaced by any other actress. We got used to her in the first one. It will be hard for me to adapt myself to her replacement.

I dont think its going to effect the movie,I mean her charecter was essentially just a love intrest,hopefully they will get a better actress then katie homes,and the fact shes droping it for a queen Latifah film suggest that she wasnt too concerned over batman in the first place lol

We still have Chris Nolan directing.
Christian Bale,Morgan Freeman,Micheal Caine and now Heath Ledger,as the Joker of all things. In a Batman movie that doesn't make a mockery of the characters.
No Kate Holmes as Rachel Dawes? Whatever. Maybe now they'll get a real women to play the part,instead of Hollywood's annoying habit of casting pubescent girls as women.
