You know what we need? Another Eminem. Remember back in the late `90s and early `00s how Eminem made fun of *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and the Backstreet Boys to name a few? Well...we need someone today doing that to Hannah Montana, Jonas Bros, and the rest of the gang. Damn kids are getting off easy. :cmad:

You're in Miami, right? Let's get together & make a supergroup. We can take care of this ourselves!

Well, here's the thing: teen pop acts aren't nearly as dominant as they were back in the late 90s. Not many people outside the tween demographic give a rat's ass about the Miley's and the Jonas's of the world.

But back in '99, Britney, Christina, the Backstreeters, NSYNC, and the like were all over the place. They made an impact worldwide, sold through the roof, and dominated the charts. Their influence on pop culture was far grander. Not to mention, they made far better music. As a fan of pop music, and as someone whose listened to both Miley and the Jonas Brother's more successful albums, their tracks don't hold a candle to the best of the 90s era peeps.

To put it bluntly, pop music sucks major ass these days. And that's why nobody bothers to go after them, because they're pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Isn't Hannah Montana a billion dollar industry? If so, then it is need of a spoof.

The TV show, yes, but Miley's music hasn't come close to touching the awareness of Britney or Christina.

I have to agree that today's pop acts don't get nearly as much exposure. I think I've heard one song by the Jonas Brothers. I've only heard that one song twice, and I can't even remember what it sounds like. I don't remember the name, either.

Nsync and Britney got so much backlash because they were everywhere. You pretty much have to tune to Radio Disney to hear a song by today's acts. The Jonases and Miley aren't remotely popular enough to warrant that kind of targeting.

It's like if someone had bothered dissing Mandy Moore or O-Town.

There was a time when pop music didn't suck major ass?!

Russell Brand tried to make jokes about the Jonas Bros. when he presented the MTV awards a few months ago. If my memory is correct he was all but crucified for it. Now, granted Russell Brands about as funny as syphillis but... Still.

Perhaps if Brand was actually funny, nobody would've jumped on him for it.

Everything that's loved by rapid teenage girls should be dissed

I think you mean vapid, you consider them to be pointless and boring rather than going at a great speed.

Personally I think that teen and pre-teen girls need something to listen to. We may think its crap but its not made for us. I loved Britney, n'sync and backstreet boys as a kid and I still listen to them but there is a lot of stuff from back then I would never touch again. I would compare the current crop of young musicians to be like Steps. Absolutely unlistenable for anyone over 15.

I would hesitate to call the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, or any of the other Disney groups "musicians." I don't know if I can even classify the awful noises they make as music, to be frank. If you want to talk about REAL young musicians, you need look no further than Crooked X...

Because Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and the other disney kids have a really powerful fanbase buy all their stuff like zombies and go ape if anyone mocks their idols.

Also they don't really need to be mocked as no one takes them that seriously as musicians compared to the pop acts from the 90s who actually believed they where talented and not just some music industry svengali's disposable puppet.

The Jonas Brothers are no The Jackson 5 or Beach Boys....... heck they ain't even The Osmonds but compared to the trash that passed for music in the 90s they are decent.

Miley Cyrus tricked me into enjoying See You Again, 7 Things, and Fly On The Wall. Demi Lovato tricked me into enjoying half her debut album. Vanessa Hudgens tricked me into adding that Sneaker song into my guilty pleasure list.

If Eminem or someone else spoofs them in one of their songs then I'll have my revenge!

Miley Cyrus tricked me into saying my own name backwards. Now i cant return to Disneyland for three months.

It was funny when Miley Cyrus was all angery because Radiohead wouldn't meet her

OMG I just found 'see you again' and '7 Things' in my media player. When did that happen? I'm so ashamed.:oldrazz:

I had no idea there was a thing for this. Thank god there is. I cannot tell you how much I hate Disney. Not Disney Channel, Disney all together. It died along time ago to sell out to the tween girls who wet themselves everytime Miley Cyrus or Jonas Bros are mentioned.
