On June 26th, the 40th Saturn Award was the last relevant awards show for Man of Steel to win any recognition. It only got nominated for three categories:

  • Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture
  • Best Performance by a Young Actor
  • Best Special Effects

It got beaten out by
  • Iron Man 3
  • Chloe Moretz in her performance in "Carrie"
  • Gravity (really? Sci-fi?)
And that's it. It's over.

The awards may be over, but MOS will be around for awhile .

So will the other films that were nominated and those that won.

i remember SR won some Saturn awards.
it doesn't mean anything though.

Man of Steel hardly won anything exceptional besides one from MTV. What do you suppose that means for pop culture?

The influence on the young generation not strong enough?
