The Last Jedi (NO SPOILERS) The Last Jedi EARLY TWEET REACTION thread (NO SPOILERS)

Eh, if you ask me, the prequels were never bad. Sure, they were inferior to the OT but I don't think they are bad movies. And when it comes to TFA and Rogue One both of them have been highly entertaining.

Eh, if you ask me, the prequels were never bad. Sure, they were inferior to the OT but I don't think they are bad movies. And when it comes to TFA and Rogue One both of them have been highly entertaining.

1 and 2 are some of the worst movies I have ever seen before.

After the prequels were released... I swore that was enough... I'd never give George Lucas anymore of my money for his infantile attempts at good drama. Luckily, Disney bought Star Wars... so now I can continue watching, regret free.

TPM and ROTS were okay.... like 5 out of 10 okay. AOTC was truly one of the worst experiences at cinema I've ever had. I'd rate it a 2, 3 at best.

For the prequels, there's no rectifying that the Jedi would actually go forward with using the Clone army and the fact that right after finding the army, Obi-Wan's investigation leads him to following the army's template right to the Separatists and Dooku.

Jango Fett even directly tells Obi-Wan he was recruited by Tyranus. Tyranus is DOOKU!

Sifo-Dyas was originally SIDO-DYAS.

So have about 6 hours in till I see the movie now. Heading out to hang with friend before we see the movie cant belive its finally here!

I thought the Prequel movies were pretty bad and I was in the age range demographic when those movies came out.

I've enjoyed The Force Awakens, Rogue One and The Last Jedi a hell of a lot more than the prequels.

Buzzfeed - Journalists Are Nervous About What A Disney And Fox Merger Would Mean For Them
“We’ve seen a pattern in Disney’s behavior. The more power they have, the more they wield it,” one entertainment reporter said.

Some reporters noted that this is not a problem specific to Disney, but that in the world of entertainment journalism, your relationships with press representatives determine your access to interviews, film screenings, set visits, and other means of coverage. Future press opportunities, they said, are dependent on how favorable your coverage has been of past films, television shows, and other news related to the company.

“As a critic, I’ve had Disney tell me they don’t want to invite me to a film because I didn’t like the last one,” another film critic said. “It really scares me to watch them get even more power.”
