Straight from Marvel:
Totally out of left field as usual. He certainly has the voice for it.
Someone on reddit posted this theory
"I'm imagining that when Ultron is being defeated, or in "rage mode" or whatever, he'll be glowing from the damaged done to his skull. The vibranium armor will hold, but maybe not what's on the inside"
Yeah maybe by the end he'll look really close to the classic comic book version.
btw this looks like two different shots edited together. Hes swinging to hit Thor then hes grabbing him by the throat.
Also: Another throat choking, but its happening to an Asgardian!
To anyone who said Ultron didn't look menacing. I direct you to the above clip.
Yeah I saw that, the first shot he is clearly giving him a left hook. Also notice Thors face is all clean and healthy as opposed to his beaten and cut face in the 'is that the best you can do' shot
His cape is all torn up
James Spaders voice inside a 8 ft tall psychotic robot should give people the chills.
He looks like comic Ultron to me. In fact I prefer that final form above to the comic look.
"Avengers, I'm gonna show you the end of the world. Boom. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be me."
Twins and Vision be all
That makes me so excited for Ultron. The description released by Marvel today says Thor is as Brash, and powerful as ever. So if Ultron is physically taking it to him (as he should be), then my worries for Ultron's power level were for nothing.
Also, that description basically confirms
presence in the film as well.
This movie is going to be insane.
I think Ultron will be one of the most powerful and intelligent MCU supervillains we've seen so far. Not only that he'll be the most fully realized, best villain personalities yet next to Loki. He has to be really, hes such an iconic character in Avengers history.
I hope Ultron is defeated but he doesn't really die. Maybe his programming is still their rebooting or something and he'll return in a future Phase.
Okay. This version of Ultron looks amazing.
Final form, I'm assuming?
This Dragonball Z realness.
Only it doesn't take fifty episodes for him to power up!
But seriously. I was starting to get put off a bit by Ultron Prime and his shiny silver and gold teeth (the toys and statues I've seen have made it look especially horrendous). But this? Superb.
I think its fun/cool that Ultron actually plugs a cord into his head. But right now we dont know if its for power or like a computer info type thing. Maybe its both. Imagine how much info he has in his crazy brain. He knows everything in history. I wonder how that will show itself in the movie. If he'll reference historical things etc
Not sure how what I said can be construed as a joke.
I doubt it happens but it would be fun if Thor and Hulk take turns destroying Ultron's body until eventually he gets the Vibranium and smacks them away one at a time.
I love how Whedon and Spader have used psychological terminology to describe Ultron's personality. Obviously he's going to be emotional, and not "cool and collected". I hope to see overreactions from him but do you guys think Ultron will actually shout at all in the movie?
Ultron is very manic in the comics, and some of his speech bubbles certainly indicate that he is shouting.
TBH I think he was just being arrogant in a sort of "how can you not know that" type of way
I hope it's the final form. Looks badass. I hope he gets a good throwdown with a few of the Avengers. Not just Thor.
The difference between comic and live action ULTRON is that he'll be more of a disturbed, emotionally complex artificial being as opposed to just a black n white crazy evil robot that is always yelling cruel things at humans. Joss has said he has humor and a vulnerability even though hes a psycho robot.
