The Dark Knight Nolan - Gone!?!?

WTF IS THIS SOME KIND OF SICK JOKE!!!!!!!!!

Alright, pranks over

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrh.... no, I don't think so.

[EDIT: As pertains to the initial post in this thread]

Somebody sticky this. Pure comedy.

I would call BS but that would be out of character for DA Harvey Dent. While I hope to God this is untrue I am not so quick in dismissing it.

So Jonathan is taking over, even though he recently said that he is focusing more on his writing and is not ready to direct yet.

LOL!

Like WB would put their 2008 TENTPOLE PROJECT in the hands of a guy who's never directed a movie? That doesn't make sense.

Nolan just said this on BOF

"About being excited to do another BATMAN: "Yeah, I mean it's a pretty dumb thing of me to do, to go back and try and do it again. But you like the challenge. I just found the world and the characters pretty fascinating. And we felt that you just wanted to push with on the story really. But it'll be a huge challenge. We were very happy with the way the first film worked out and then was perceived. So yeah, it's an enormous risk. That's really what you have to be doing as a filmmaker, I think, is taking enormous risks."

???

He completely changed his mind over the course of 48 hours. DUH.

Is that a porn news site?

In a stunning blow to Warner Brothers, and Batman fans all over the world, Batman Begins director Christopher Nolan has confirmed that he is leaving the directorial reigns of the much anticipated sequel, The Dark Knight, in favor of doing the big screen adaptation of the television show The Prisoner. The successor to Nolan as director of The Dark Knight will be none other than his brother, Jonathan "Jonah" Nolan. Both still plan to write the screenplay, which is said to have gone through 10 drafts already.

When asked why he left, Nolan said, "Batman Begins was an immensely gratifying and huge project to work on. It was by far the most work I have ever done on a film and quite possibly the most draining. I put everything I had into it and sacrificed two years trying to bring it to the big screen. Although a success in the end, the overall process was just too much for me. I'm not used to doing these types of big budget films. I am more used to doing smaller, more independet fair like Memento. It's just too much time and effort to put into one film, and I would rather do something smaller and more prolific like The Prisoner."

At Warner Brothers, Alan Horn said that "this is a great loss to the Batman franchise, but we have faith that Chris will deliver in the script and that his brother will step up and give us a worthy sequel to Batman Begins."

When asked about anxious and worried fans, Nolan said, "All I can say is that everyone can rest assured knowing that me and my Brother, Jonah, will write the screenplay for The Dark Knight and will make it into the best thing that we have written. And everyone can have faith in Jonah that, although this will be his first time directing a movie, he will without a shadow of a doubt, surpass what I created and started in Batman Begins"

that is so not nolan. i call BS
