my vote is for something kinda crazy...def a hard R movie. that would be johann vasquez' series "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac"

what do you think about it? and what would you like to see?

Alien Legion (technically Marvel under the Epic brand), Rogue Trooper, Strontium Dogs, Frank Miller's: Ronin (I hear it's under development), The Darkness, Warlock 5...

And dozens of others I can't recall right at the moment.

The news about the ElfQuest movie in development is news I personally find quite exciting also.

Ronin for sure.

The Goon (I think it's being looked into)

The Spirit...the real Spirit... Will Eisner's Spirit. ( :

...is a DC book

Invincible is probably the best bet for a non DC/Marvel superhero movie.

I think a children's style book like Alison Dare or Owly would make a nice kids movie. I could see Abigail Breslin as Alison Dare.

Scud the Disposal Assassin
Usagi Yojimbo (Pixar CGI film)
Cyborg 009

The one with the biggest potential would be Bone, which I think could be a 300 million dollar domestic film.

I'd love a Strangers In Paradise film. My second favorite comic character Madman is already in the works. I'd jump for joy for for Stray Bullets, or Astro City.

Cal MacDonald

Lobstr Johnson (i seriously think he could have a solo)

The Lone Ranger that Dynamite has been doing

The Goon and Ronin (which have already been said)

Transmetropolitan (sp?)
Preacher
a number of other Vertigo titles, which is kinda DC but not

magnus robot fighter
either live or animated

Invincible
Maus (cell animation please)
Bone
Walking Dead
Transmetropolitan

I'm pretty sure it's all been mentioned.

More masked vigilante tone and more of a society of villains (if i remember correctly they were allowed to rape and murder whomever they like) than people who do bad things so good people dont have to. More gruesome and all the characters were inspired by DC villains

Ah. Well, considering that I was bored to tears by what we got, maybe it would've helped. "Wanted" was one of those movies that seemed...ashamed of its comic book roots.
