The revival of this thread makes me think of an impromptu review I gave a friend of mine of this movie I saw called Me Before You. Mild spoilers ahead.

Finnick O'Dare, fresh off winning the last Hunger Games, gets paralyzed from the neck down in a chariot accident. At around the same time, Danaerys Targaryen loses her post as queen of Mereen, and begins questioning her relationship with Neville Longbottom, who has become obsessed with fitness after leaving Hogwarts. Shortly thereafter, she takes a job caring for Finnick. Though she begins to make progress with the irritable and miserable Finnick, she soon learns that his father, Tywin Lannister, is plotting to have him euthanized to put him out of his misery. Finnick is fully on board with this idea. Plus that's just the sort of thing that happens when your dad is Tywin Lannister. Anyway, after discussing the matter over with her sister Clara Oswald, Danaerys decides to try and convince Finnick to continue his life and falls in love with him.

SILENCE
Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield)
Darth Quigon/Ducard
Kylo Ren

Stardust
Daredevil (Charlie)
Sinestro
Superman (Cavill)
Catwoman (Pfeiffer)

This has likely been mentioned before but Peter Jackson's LotR/Hobbit trilogies have a huge amount of actors that have been (or will be) in Marvel films, whether they be MCU, Fox or Sony:

Ian McKellen (Gandalf) - Magneto (Fox)
Cate Blanchett (Galadriel) - Hela (MCU)
Karl Urban (Eomer) - Skurge (MCU)
Lee Pace (Thranduil) - Ronan (MCU)
Richard Armitage (Thorin) - Heinz Kruger (MCU)
Hugo Weaving (Elrond) - Red Skull (MCU)
Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel) - Hope Van Dyne (MCU)
Benedict Cumberbatch (Smaug & The Necromancer/Sauron) - Doctor Strange (MCU)
Martin Freeman (Bilbo) - Everett Ross (MCU)
Liv Tyler (Arwen) - Betty Ross (MCU)
Dominic Monaghan (Merry) - Bolt (Fox)
Andy Serkis (Gollum) - Ulysses Klaue (MCU)
Marton Csokas (Celeborn) - Dr Kafka (Sony)

Lawrence Makoare and Sala Baker who played many of the orcs in the LotR films (Baker also played the physical form of Sauron) are also stunt performers in a lot of the MCU films. There may be more, but that's who I've managed to catch.

THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES
Hercules (Ryan Gosling)
Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper)
Roxanne Simpson (Eva Mendez)
Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan)
Moira McTaggart (Rose Byrne)
Cornelius "Cottonmouth" Stokes (Mahershala Ali)
Batman (Bruce Greenwood)

Now that Colin Farrell was in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", pretty much the entire main cast of "In Bruges" has been a part of the Potter franchise. You've got Percival Graves (Farrell), Mad-Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson), Fleur Delacour (Clemence Poesy), and Voldemort himself (Ralph Fiennes). Ciaran Hinds even has a small part in it and he played Dumbledore's brother.

Not surprising. If you were from the UK and an actor in the last 20 years you were probably in a HP movie.

Game of Thrones sort of took over that recently.

I feel like Prof X and Magneto are the only ones who weren't.

Criminal 2016.

Pa Kent.
Wonder Woman
General Philips/Two-Face
Comissioner Gordon
Faora
Lucian
Deadpool
Walter Steele

Not sure if this was done already. American Psycho-Batman, Joker, Green Goblin, Maria Castle, Glenn Talbot
