Nordstrom's sells "poverty stricken designed shoes" for $530

So tacky. Spending like you're rich to look poor has to be one of the stupidest things this society has come up with.

Anyone who buys these needs to be ashamed of themselves.
 
Nordstrom has never exactly been associated with class, except by people with an extremely shallow idea of it, so not really shocking but still incredibly tacky.
 
So what...plenty of luxury/designer or "hip brand" items are sold at a high price.
Have a look a Guchi flip flop ( I think it is Guchi, can be wrong ).
Nothing new here.
 
I tend to give a broad allowance to fashion and art in general but after seeing the picture of those shoes ... yeah that's super gross.

I've got nothing against a pair of simulated used vintage shoes or weathered shoes that look worn in or "loved" or having picked up some character over the years, but those are hideous and clearly fetishizing poverty.
