Iron Man Now Opening at 8 P.M. on May 1st

There are now going to be 8 p.m. showings on Thursdsay May 1st in many theaters across the country, mark it down! This in froma buddy of mine down in SoCal.

It's just like how for The Dark Knight viral marketing games only Americans were allowed to actually participate in the physical side(driving to locations)...Batman is an American character.

Enough non-Americans cried about not being able to take part so these last games we had were also set up in other countries this time around. So the door swings both ways.

Yes, to me even if it makes me sound pathetic...if the character is an American made character or even Icon it should open in the USA first. That's only if the studio is not wanting to release it everywhere at once...which I'm all for so we can all see it at the same time.

I can see this is getting me nowhere... but 1'st of all, I wasn't namecalling any one. The only thing I said is that you're whining over nothing. And I'm not bashing because you get it on May 1'st, and as you say I wanted you to wait for it. That's not true. At first, I didn't like this idea but I think it means that it really is tracking quite huge. I'm sure they crunched the numbers and it adds up to more sales. As a fan, I love the midnight atmosphere best. So, I hope this move doesn't disperse attendance. This is an event movie and deserves to be seen in a packed house, like a sporting event. That also makes the experience better and generates better word of mouth.
