I only included the top 3 contenders in the poll by title.

LOL. Are there really so many Marvel Studios films that we have to have an "other" category instead of just listing them?

I dunno, I thought it would be an interesting approach since only Avengers and Iron Man 1 dominate these "best Marvel Studio movie" threads.

Avengers. And it will be that way until Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers 2 most likely. Unless Cap 2 does a good job of appealing to the political and spy nerd in me.

Its either IM1 or Avengers but I'll go with the former.

Still The Avengers.

1. The Avengers
2. Iron Man
3. Thor
4. Iron Man 3
5. Captain America: The First Avenger
6. Iron Man 2
7. The Incredible Hulk

Do you seriously think Iron Man 2 is better than The Avengers?

Do you seriously think Iron Man 2 is better than The Avengers?

Yes, actually. I don't find either any better than meh but I find myself preferring Iron Man 2 by a hair, mostly due to more RDJ. Neither is particularly good in my eyes. I felt they both lacked heart, had some meh-at-best battle scenes (the NY finale and the fight in Tony's house), a pretty good one (Helicarrier fight, Stark Expo climax, but the Helicarrier one is definitely better), the plot is meh in each (the dying subplot I find boring on repeat viewings and the plot in Avengers I find too simple for my taste), but the acting is a bright part in each.

The other marvel movies should be in this poll surely? Anyway:

1)The Avengers
2)Iron Man
3)Thor
4)Iron Man 3
5)Captain America
6)The Incredible Hulk
7)Iron Man 2.

Iron Man 3 was very dissapoining. One of the worst marvel studios films imho.

IM3 was a homerun on many, many levels! Haters can scream, but from a directing POV and a writing POV - as well as some very tight and subtle come-agains - IM3 was fantastic.

From a story telling standpoint it was exceptional.

I was very impressed with arguably one of the more difficult characters to bring to flim, Captain America. Joe Johnston did a tremendous job with that film.

Avengers was, well, so incredibly special and epic in every way. I have not felt that way at a movie since I was a kid and saw Star Wars and Empire. Any film that can capture that sense of youthful innocence gets top billing!

So:

Avengers
IM3
Captain America

And - mods - I do not know if this is appropriate to put here, if not, please understand it was not done to pee in anyone's cornflakes! But, for anyone who dreams - and has dedication and talent:

Help a brother out!

1. Avengers-10/10
2. Iron Man 3- 9/10
3. The Incredible Hulk-8.5/10
4. Iron Man-8.5/10
5. Captain America-8.5/10
6. Thor-8.5/10
7. Iron Man 2- 8/10

For the most part, I like them all around the same as you can see. None of the solo films are great, but they are all entertaining, though flawed. I wouldn't enjoy them as much if I wasn't a huge comic book fan, but even with that said, they are all entertaining popcorn flicks. Avengers is a class on blockbuster filmmaking. Its a great experience. It takes it pretty safe, but it pretty much perfects what it was trying to do.

Iron Man 3 shouldn't even be up there.

Iron Man 1 and 2 are better than that, along with The Avengers, Thor, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America.

1. Iron Man
2. The Avengers
3. Iron Man 3
4. Thor

I did not care for the others.
