Last year's movies weren't depressing. "There Will Be Blood" was a rip-roarin' barrel of laughs! But as far as this year goes, "W" will be hilarious and "Quantum of Solace" looks to kick quite a bit of ass.
hmm...there's a few i'm looking forward too. Namely Bond. POSSIBLY the Spirit...but not sure on that one yet. But I think that's about it....so I guess i'm not all that hyped about the fall. It's more of a TV time for me.
Eagle Eye, Sex Drive, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Saw V, Fanboys, Igor, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, Zack and Miri Make a Porno. This Fall is going to own.
So far it was much more depressing (dunno how it can be but hey) last year with the likes of Spidey 3, Shrek 3, Pirates 3, Surf's Up, Evan Almighty, Rush Hour 3, whereas at least most of the summer films this year were pretty damn good minus Mummy 3 & Wanted.
Burn After Reading
Blindness
Choke
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People
Body of Lies
RocknRolla
Zach and Miri Make a Porno
Quantum of Solace
Australia
The Road
Defiance
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Valkyrie
By depressing they aren't talking about the quality of the films, but about how the content of them is depressing, at least according to that badly written article.
Actually, I read through People's review of the Fall movies and except really Quantum of Solace, there's no really other movie is a must see. There's a couple I wouldn't mind seeing like Zack and Miri make a Porno.
