The monster was mute in Mr. Lees film, but this one speaks, a nod to the campy 1978-82 television series that starred Bill Bixby and the bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno (resplendent in green body paint).
As pleased as I am to read that (and will be even more pleased if it's true) how is that a nod to the TV series?
Ferrigno's hulk never spoke at all....At least the 03 one had two short lines, even if both were more symbolic than practical.
They didn't say Hulk talking in this film is a nod to the TV Show but that Ang's mute Hulk was.
They used a subordinate clause, I knew my teachers taught me something, in the sentence.
And I have just used one right now.
Ah, I get it.
Still, it would read clearer had they said: "The monster was mute in Mr. Lees film, a nod to the campy 1978-82 television series that starred Bill Bixby and the bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno (resplendent in green body paint), but this one speaks!!
Yep. The way its worded can throw you off.Ah, I get it.

NY Times said:Entertainment Weekly pronounced the computer-generated effects "totally fake-looking."
If Entertainment Weakly said that, then it CAN ONLY mean, for a fact, that it is "totally realistic-looking."
I get more and more uneasy for the film's success, and yet more and more hyped the for the film itself.
Mixed feelings Frostbite has...
Same here. This film has an uphill battle ahead of it. Due to the criticisms and negative perceptions against Ang's Hulk, perhaps unfairly, it's not going to be easy. I hope it at least pulls a Batman Begins and it is a good, solid film, followed by good word of mouth and is a financial success so that we get a better sequel.
